Q: I’ve been using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Cream Cleanser for 6 days, how long until I see actual results?
My skin feels softer, and some of my acne is getting smaller.

A: How long until you see actualy results? Ha! you answered your own question..’ My skin feels softer…’ a result. ‘ my acne is getting smaller..’ another result.

but if you mean how long it will get clearer …about another week..takes 2 weeks to get pimples so it maybe take 2 weeks to get rid of.

Q: What is the best type acne cleanser- Gel, Cream, Or exfoliating?
I have semi oily skin, and moderate acne on my forehead. I dont have sensitive skin but my face gets dry with some products but not many. When i use cream cleansers i feel like it doesnt clean my skin well enough, (haha but maybe its just in my head) so which works the best for you? Gel cleansers, cream cleansers, or exfoliating cleansers?
THANKS!
ohhh and specific product names wouldnt hurt ;)

A: I have semi-oily skin, too. (:
Cream cleansers work best for me,
but you have to leave it on for a few minutes
before rinsing it off, kind of like a mask.
(I use Clean&Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser,
and it’s wonderful<3 )

Gel cleansers aren’t very good for oily skin types,
and plus, there’s not very many gel face washes out there.
I highly do NOT recommend exfoliating,
because you’re only supposed to exfoliate once a month.

Hope I helped,
and good luck, chickerita! (;

Q: I just bought Neutrogena oil-free acne wash cream cleanser ?
I have been reading its reviews and most people hate it…

I am 12 almost 13 and just started getting zits. I have tons on my forehead and nose, so since my parents thought the one i wanted was to expensive. I went with the oil-free acne wash cream cleanser by neutrogena. Does it work? Or should i return it?

A: Neutrogena sucks, to put it nicely.

Q: What anti-acne cream/cleanser should I buy?
Not for my face, but for my shoulders and top of my back. Likely, to be applied after a shower.

A: neutrogena makes a body wash that helps with acne on your skin

and anything specially formulated for your back should work, with the cleanser, in no time to clear it up

Q: What is the Best Cream or Acne cleanser to take away acne and acne scars?
My acne isnt very bad it is mild.and my acne scars are new.because i started to break out a LOT lately..hope this helps..please answer my question

A: This article is related to the face but may be helpful.

External Acne Care: The Pros and Cons of Washing Your Face

Acne is basically an internal condition triggered by several underlying factors. However, there are additional external acne symptoms that may enhance the formation of acne or interfere with the healing process of your existing acne on the external level (e.g. the external acne environment). Without handling these external triggers, it will be very difficult for anyone to overcome their acne challenge, especially when the holistic treatment is performed while the individual still suffers from “live” and “evolving” acne.

Clogged or very large pores, oily or very dry complexion and bad skin hygiene do not cause acne but they interfere with the healing process of the skin and make your external acne environment more prone or “susceptible” to acne.

Taking care of your skin on a daily basis by incorporating simple and easy to follow protocols may not only enhance the healing process of your existing acne it will also balance your skin ph levels, making it smooth, even toned, radiant and healthy looking.

Although there are many types of cleansers available for different purposes (exfoliation, clean, medicate), washing your face twice a day using a gentle antiseptic and anti-bacterial 100% natural soap like tea tree oil soap, or Cetaphil soap can help reduce inflammation, swelling and redness and significantly improve the overall appearance of your skin without the irritation, allergy reactions and over-dryness that over the counters like Benzoyl Peroxide can cause.

Washing your face should always come after a good 5 minutes steaming routine. After the steaming, follow these 3 easy steps:

1. Use lukewarm water to get the soap wet.

2. Apply the soap to your face using your fingertips in a circular motion.

3. Wash your face gently and pat your skin dry using a cotton towel.

If your sebaceous glands are producing too much oil (due to hormonal imbalance that should be fixed internally), then you probable have excessively oily skin and large pores. To tackle that problem externally, do not use alcohol and water astrigent, instead use soap like Neutrogena clear pore oil Controlling astrigent or even better apply an all natural mask made of bentonitre or egg whites.

An extremely dry skin can also be treated internally through balancing oil secretion protocols and dietary changes and supplementation, including the regular intake of 10 glasses of pure water on a daily basis. As for the external care, applying lots of good quality moisturizer such as 99% Aloe Vera gel while avoiding harsh and un-natural external care products; can significantly reduce your dryness.

Warning: Excessive washing of the face can cause mild to moderate irritations and increase redness and inflammation, defeating its own purpose.

If you have sensitive skin, the best practice is to test each product prior to using it, using dollar size amount on your chin, regardless of its quality or the nature of its ingredients.

Q: Do you like Nuetrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser?
I bought it today, but only used to once. Has it helped anyone?

A: It’s good actually though acne washes tend to be drying.

Q: Has anyone used the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser?
im looking for a neutrogena product that will help me git rid of some pimples, and something that will sooth my skin and help it not get all red, i have sensitive skin. I was looking at the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser, and would like to know if anyone has tried it and if you liked it.?? please only answer if you have tried this product. thanks.

A: yes try it! it helps redness sooo much! it makes my skin look radiant and glowing. it takes a while for the acne medication to kick in though. definitly need to get neutrogena on the spot treatment following this cleanser.

Q: Has the Neutrogena Oil-Free Cream Cleanser Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Worked For You?
Please, I just bought it and need to know if it will work? Will it work on 11 year old african american skin that is sorta a mix between oily, combination, and normal.

Please answer!!!!

Would it work betterwith the Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, and cetaphil?

A: I used it and it worked for me (tan skin, oily). I saw results almost immediately, but everyone’s skin is different. I used ProActive and it made my acne worse, but it worked for others. I also used the Neurtogena Stress cleanser. The night lotion can irritate your skin, but I really like the daily lotion. Overall it gets an A+ from me and I hope it works for you!

Q: Is it okay to use facial cleanser on your body (such as Neutrogena Oil-Free Cream Acne Cleanser)?
I recently decided to try Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Cream Acne Cleanser on my face as a better means to keep it clean. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing mild-to-moderate acne on my chest and back within the last few months and I was wondering if I could use the cleanser on my back and chest as well. Keep in mind that I also apply Ziana gel to my face and back at night, and I take two doses of 75mg. Doryx (doxycycline) per day. The cleanser contains a 2% dose of salicylic acid, and I have been using Panoxyl bar soap (10% benzoyl peroxide) on my back and chest for the past 6 months. However, I would like to discontinue the BP on my chest and back because it is extremely irritating on my skin and I feel as if I have become immune to it.

A: yeah that would be fine..but could get expensive..they do have neutrogena body cleansers that you could use that have salicylic acid in them that might work better for you..

Q: Advice on using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser..?
I just wanted to kno how neutrogena’s oil-free acne wash cream cleanser was in clearing acne as well as any negative effects on skin other than problems with overusing it and mixing it and etc. Thx for ur help.

A: Neutrogena oil free acne wash is good takes away pimples but can be a bit
drying on sensitive skin if you have super oily skin is good.

Q: Does Clean & Clear deep action cream cleanser good for acne ?
I’m also 15 and my acne isnt severe but its enough for me, lol.
I’m also 15 and my acne isnt severe but its enough for me, lol.

A: I dont know if it is good for acne but it is a good daily facial cleanser I use it maybe three times a week once at night and once in the morning and my face feels fresh. You may need to see a dermotoligist if you feel very strongly about acne I dont think over the counter products are the best way to go for first treatments. You did not mention your age or skin type so those are also determining factors but remember you said it best and may have answered or considered another remedy because Clean & Clear Deep Action Cleanser is good for CLEANSING.

Q: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne (Cream Cleanser)?
About 3 days ago I purchased the aforementioned at my local Walgreen’s in that hopes that it would serve as a good, solid facial cleanser. Since that time, I have experienced a relatively large breakout on my face (getting small dots of pimples where I normally never get them, a few painful cysts, etc.). Although I know that you are supposed to give everything time, I am already quite impatient and am worried I will simply make my face worse by continuing to use it. I used to wash my face with water in the shower up until this point, so I am considering reverting back to that method (the most pimples I would ever have at one time was maybe 3-5). Any advice? Anyone else experience breakouts from Neutrogena?
I am aware that your body needs to re-regulate its conditions when you try a new product, but I have never experienced such a bad breakout in my entire life, so I am to the point where I think I just might stop using it all together.

A: I have had a lot of problems with acne and have read and tried more products than I want to admit to. This is what I know: One of the reasons you may be having problems is because most products that are sold for acne have a really high pH. When they remove the dirt and oils, they strip the skin of its protective layer and really dry it out. This sets up the skin to #1 produce more oils and #2 allows bacteria to enter your skin. Both of these can lead to more breakouts and cysts. I know of a really good product line for acne. If you are interested, let me know.

Q: what is the difference between foaming acne wash and acne cream cleansers?
i wondering which one is good for my skin
and if u use any of these products, what company do u use?
i have combination skin while getting acne on forehead, nose, chin and sometimes the cheeks (hardly)
what acne products have worked for you?
please and thank you :)

A: use cetaphil cleanser or spectroderm, I have used them both, they are great and dont give me breakouts…though I think spectroderm is more effective of the two
