Q: Is it true that using acne cream or medication can make acne worse?
I’ve heard that using acne cream like Proactiv or Clearsil can clear acne for a few weeks but will cause it to come back, even worse and last even longer. Is this true?
Also, I went to an acne treatment review website and for most acne treatment brands there are reviews that say it’s amazing and also reviews that says it’s horrible, so it’s hard to know what product will have the best resulsts. Any advice?
A: some are more stronger than others so if you use it , it can make it bad cause its so strong….like i had some acne, not much but when i went to my dermatologist he said the proactive would be too strong on me and its meant for severe acne
Q: I just bought Neutrogena oil-free acne wash cream cleanser ?
I have been reading its reviews and most people hate it…
I am 12 almost 13 and just started getting zits. I have tons on my forehead and nose, so since my parents thought the one i wanted was to expensive. I went with the oil-free acne wash cream cleanser by neutrogena. Does it work? Or should i return it?
A: Neutrogena sucks, to put it nicely.
Q: Anyone ever heard of this manuka honey acne cream? Does it work?
Can’t find any reviews anywhere
http://www.honeymarkproducts.com/acne-cream.aspx
A: Honeymark Acne Cream works great. It doesn’t have any ingredients that dry your skin out. In fact, the Manuka Honey moisturizes the and draws impurities out of the skin. Just go to Google and type in “Manuka Honey Acne” and you’ll read all of the message board listings of people who have used Manuka Honey to successfully treat acne.
Q: has anyone tried ultraclear acne cream?
on the site it says its 99% proven to work and they ahve loadsa good reviews, but has anyone tried it ?
A: personally, i wouldn’t try it. just get an acne stuff from neutrogena because i had acne(insane acne) and i used the new acne treatment neutrogena soothing redness and away blemishes and it just is gone now! yay! and no more oily skin of course:) also try clinique oil-free moisturizer it helps control the oil.
and no, i am not trying to stop you from trying this. i am just trying to help you and if you are not completely satisfied with that you could try this out:)
Q: Does Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream help with sorting acne out?
I’ve read a lot of positive reviews but was wondering what you guys thought.
Thanks in advance.
A: I think maybe it depends on the reason/type of acne. I have pretty bad acne with quite deep spots and it didn’t help me any more than my other anti-acne lotions and creams. The best for me so far is garnier night gel with salicylic acid but it doesn’t prevent more from appearing (for me).
I’m now on antibiotics for my acne but I probably get spots for a very different reason than you do.
I would recommend sudocrem if you have dry skin as well as acne.
Q: What is the best moisturizer for sensitive/acne prone skin?
I have painfully dry skin from prescription acne creams.
I want a good moisturizer so i can get rid of the burning feeling after i use my RX at night but i don’t want any pore clogging!
Price doesn’t matter but it has to work.
I will read product reviews but there is so much out there.
I want some product names to start my research with.
…Thanks for your help…
A: I have been using this moisturizer forever and it’s amazing. It’s not oily and it’s very gentle and doesn’t make me break out ever. It can be found at any grocery store or drug store.

Q: Acne/Dry skin help- Egyptian Magic cream?
I went to the doctors and got prescribed Duac once daily gel. I have been using it for 4 days now. My acne was not that bad mostly scars. I have dry skin and suffer from eczema ( but not eczema on my face) However, I only apply thin layers of the Duac gel but it seems to be burning my skin and leaving it red. So i’m a bit dubious about using it again as i’m thinking it will just dry out my scars completely. I have been applying Bio-Oil for a couple of days, but I know it takes a while and will probably just make my acne worse. However, I recently heard good reviews about Egyptian Magic cream.. has anybody used it on skin like mine? I really need my scars and spots gone for good. If so, where can I buy this product in the UK? Thanks.
A: There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.
It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It’s been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)
Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.
This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:
Search up “Cee En’s Acne Solution” on ebay.
First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can purchase 1 month supply for $40, 3 month for $100, or 6 month supply for $150
It’s expensive, but the product DOES work.
My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.
I don’t have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.
check the seller’s feedbacks on the cream

I hope this helps. =)
Q: Nixoderm acne cream?
has anyone tried this.. reviews??
or can you give me one better?..
A: Provided the acne is not broken nothing better on the market than toothpaste and not so frigging expensive either.
Q: BB cream for dry, pale skin with very minor acne? Which one do you suggest?
Well my skin is very pale. Whenever I do buy makeup from the USA I’m always told to buy the lightest shade. My pores are slightly enlarged so I want it to be able to cover up that. My cheeks have some redness(not from acne, they’re just a little rosy so I want to hide that and whiten it if possible) Also I have a lot of dry patches on my face(nose, cheeks, chin, forehead) so I want it to hide that and not get dry through the day. So any suggestions on which one I should use? I’m sort of worried because I keep hearing so many mixed reviews about mainly Missha(the one I originally wanted to buy. I’m guessing it’s more for oily skin?) I was considering buying Dr Jart black label BB cream since it’s for dry skin, but not sure yet since I heard mixed reviews about that as well.
A: i like the Missha BB cream
Q: Neutrogena – Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser .. ?
So, I got this .
And I would love to hear your guys review on it !
So far It has brought the redness in my pimples down a bit .. and Made my skin really soft !
Also, is there any other skin products (that I can get at stores) that have worked great for you ? I really want nice skin, my acne isnt horrible, I have a bit on my forhead, and I have the odd pimple on my face, but I deffinetly do not have perfect skin. I also have blackheads in along the side of my nose … buut please tell me your review, and other products that work great !
THANKKSSSS !
A: I use the same stuff! I couldnt stop touching my face after using it. Soo soft!
Q: St. Ives Apricot Face Wash, Oily/Acne Prone vs. Olay Total Effects Cream Cleanser?
I have been reading reviews on these two products and based on the reviews it seems like they are both very great face washes to use for acne. I’m having trouble deciding which one to buy. Help! Thank you
A: St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead Face Wash without a doubt! i’m in luv with it! if u do purchase it i hope u get gr8 results like me!
Q: Has anyone tried the Acne free in 3 days thing?
Has anyone tried the Acne free in 3 days ebook thing by Chris Gibson? Does it work? It sounds kindof scammy and I find it very hard to believe that acne can be cured in three days just by eating apples and drinking water and stuff. But there were tonnes of good reviews for it so Im wondering if maybe it does work? Is it worth the forty dollars? Also do you have to use some sort of cream or take pills or something, or is it just eating apples and water?
A: It appears to be a great program. I prefer the natural approach as there is a lot less harm and risk done on your body and its far cheaper too. The most you can loose is the price of an online eBook which is generally very cheap unlike some of the chemical treatments out there.
Q: Question on adult acne?
I suffer from adult acne. It reached its worse with age. I’m 23 this year and it appears to just get worse with time. I’ve been to the dermatologist and I’ve been taking their prescription medicines and following a healthy diet but it doesn’t prevent my breakouts. I recently came across an over the counter cream called Acnomel and its an adult acne cream that contains sulfur. I was wondering if anyone had reviews on it. Also if you are an adult with acne, how do you maintain your breakouts? Thanks
A: I don’t suffer to often but once in a blue moon wow.
Do you use a three step process? Clinique or Arbonne make a good system the one with Arbonne has supplements that help maintain breakouts once you get a handle on them.
You’d have to find a rep locally -
I find toner helps balance my skin and do you do some deep heating acne masks? Exfoliate? Small doses of vitamin d help too (the sun).
Q: Help!! My skin is really dry and is acne-prone…!!!?
My skin is really dry every time after I wash my face. I think it is because I overused my acne cream. It contains sulfur as the main ingredient. The skin peels and I have to use a moisturizer. However, after a few hours, my face will become quite oily, especially around the nose area.
Should I switch my acne cream to Dalacin T (lotion)? Is it good? Please give me reviews. Also, I am now on a course of antibiotics (doxycycline). I use Neutrogena Deep Clean cleansing foam to wash my face. Right now, my face has some pimples but the acne scars are quite obvious. Do topical creams get rid of them?
Please help me! Thanks a lot!!
A: drink more water
and stop being so hard on your face
over washing it can make it dry and prone to acne
Q: Neutrogena Anti-blemish cream??!!! Success??
I have read many reviews on Neutrogena’s anti-wrinkle anti-blemish cream. anyone used this? how was it? prevent acne? do you know any acne cream that works for sensitive skin? please!!!!
A: i use neutrogena acne stress control face wash and the neutrogena on the spot lotion stuff. both work amazing. especially the face wash, it’s gental and has cucumber in it so prevents redness. if they ever discontinue it i will kirk out!
good luck
