Q: How do I get clearer acne free skin and reduce small acne scars?
I don’t have really bad acne but I do always have small zits mostly along my cheekbones and cheek and chin area. My skin is also not very even toned (a teensy reddish in some places) I have used proactive and acne free and I moisterize daily, drink lots of water, and take vitamins. But it isen’t doing much. Can someone give me some tips on how to get acne free skin and get that sought after glowing look?

Q: How can I get healthy, acne free skin?
I have sensitive, somewhat oily skin, some open pores on my cheek, small pimples on my forehead and under my nose. I think I have small acne scars/marks under my nose too…and I use Neutrogena oil-free acne wash and moisturizer. Benzoyl Peroxide irrritates my skin. I eat healthy too…Is there anything I can buy or do that will cure this?
A: Your first step is to simply get the acne all cleared up. You don’t wanna be using something to clear the acne, something to heal the scars, and something to give your skin radiance all at the same time because they can kind of work against each other ya know? Try different things to heal your acne, try proactiv if you haven’t (worked wonders for some, didn’t do shit for me), or if all else fails just go to the dermatologist (what I’m doing right now.)
You can also try some mederma or scarzone acne for your acne scars, I’m finding more success with the scarzone acne than the mederma, but if you don’t have many scars don’t fret too much, you can always cover and conceal them easier than acne.
Once your skin is clear, then you should focus on exfoliating a bunch. Aveeno has this awesome daily scrub that actually makes your skin brighten up, and it smells really good too. Also moisurize a TON, aveeno also has a redness reducing daily moisturizer that is so hydrating but doesn’t make you break out, and it also smells great and has sunscreen which is great for preventing wrinkles and other sun damage.
Also, try to stick to mineral foundations, you don’t even have to go spend all the money on bare minerals, maybe try a cheaper drug store one, but just try to stay away from liquid foundations. They only clog your pores and don’t look half as natural as mineral powder foundations do.
I hope I have helped!!
Q: How come all the male celebs have such clear and ACNE FREE skin?
what secret so they have?i have seen all of male celebs like-david henrie, jonas bros, zac efro, kevin zegers, chace crawford etc etc
ESPECIALLY DAVID HENRIE
how come they all have such CLEAR AND ACNE FREE SKIN???
A: they dont. they are real people and have acne problems like the rest of us. however they have lots of money to spend on dermatologists to help keep their acne in check.
If you would like to clear up your skin you should buy
face wash
spot treatment
moisturizers
wash your face 1-2 times a day. I suggest you start out with once a day and work up to twice. eventually you could even do 3 times. however it is too harsh to start out washing your skin three times a day with a acne wash. your skin will react and dry up
after you have done your wash you should apply a moisturizer.this helps to keep your skin hydrated
at night before bed, put spot treatment on your problem spots where you see pimples forming
i suggest using neutrogena line of acne products as they are inexpensive and work with most peoples skin
Q: What is a good face wash for people with sensitive, acne free skin with ocasional blackheads? 10 points?
I do not have acne and my skin is very sensitive to any acne treating face wash, but i would like something that will get rid of my occasional blackheads.
Currently using Cetaphil, and it doesn’t get rid of blackheads, but is very gentle on my skin.
A: Mark Calming Effect cleanser by Avon. It’s soap-free and has milk and oat proteins in it, so it’s good for sensitive skin.

A: This is what I do and use: In the Mornings I use Apricot Scrub: Invigorating. Afterwards I follow with putting some Boots No7 Soft & Soothed Toner on a slightly damp cotton pad and waiting for it to dry completely, and then put on a doctor prescribed medication. Once a week, instead of using Apricot Scrub, I use the Mask part of Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask then follow with my regular routine. Every night before going to bed I use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Cleanser with Microclear Technology and continue with using Boots No7 Soft & Soothed Toner and the doctor prescribed medication.

Q: Do you think clean, acne free skin makes people look beautiful?
I have 0 confiudence and terrible acne. I dont have very nice face eatures, theyre all unsmmetrical and look so lopsided but im hoping at least when my skin is sorted ill look kind of pretty because itll be clear and ill be able to look nice, even if my features arne’t
What do you think?
A: Clear skin is a sign of good health.
There’s lots you can do to help unless its severe then you may need accutane. First off, drink a LOT of water, it helps clear your skin. Wash your face every morning and every night, make sure you get your makeup off. Try to keep your hands off your face because the oil from your hands clogs your pores. Use mineral foundation instead of thick, oily cream foundation.
If you have an issue, you should enhance what you DO like about yourself!!
I’m a firm believer that every single person on this earth is beautiful. Have you ever just really LOOKED at someone? People are beautiful in general.
Good luck and I hope you get more self confidence because everyone deserves to feel good about themselves.

what secret so they have?i have seen all of male celebs like-david henrie, jonas bros, zac efro, kevin zegers, chace crawford etc etc
how come they all have such CLEAR AND ACNE FREE SKIN???
A: male celebrities use cover up just like females. in magazines, they are usually photoshopped and in films/pictures, they have makeup on. they also have the money to get facials/treatments/dermatologists etc.
i remember reading quote by zac efron where he admitted he uses foundation to cover up his acne. celebs are just regular people and have the same skin conditions, they just have more resources to hide it.
Q: What are steps to lead to completely clear, acne-free skin?
I have some acne that is moderately bad, but not completely taking over my whole face. Obviously, I want to get rid of it.
What are some foods I should eat more and foods I should eat less?
Does milk make acne worse, because I consume a lot of that.
And are there any special/different home treatments that you have found to effectively work?
Thanks
A: The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That’s because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin’s Sebum (oil) production. This results in…you guessed it – more acne.
So what’s the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won’t shock your body into more breakouts. Here’s what I recommend:
- Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.
- For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.
- Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.
- Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.
- Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.
- If acne medication isn’t working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.
- One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an “oatmeal mask”. The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.
- Lemon juice also dries up pimples and kills any bacteria in the infection.

Best of Luck!
Q: How do I get a clearer and acne-free skin and reduce acne scars?
I have acne like a lot and I try to wash my face with not too warm, but not too cold water, but I don’t scrub hard, and I use a cream… what am I doing wrong, because I still have acne after 2 weeks!? Spring pictures are coming on the 16th, so I only have 11 days to clear up my face!!! Please help someone! It’s my last year in my elementary school so I want my last picture to be the best one.
A: Hey, I think I can offer some advice about your acne. The first thing I can tell u is that you NEED to be patient. Not being patient can make you pop or pick at your pimples and that is the recipe for really bad acne scarring and that takes forever to go away. As far as skin care, you need to wash, moisturize and then medicate. When u wash your face NEVER be aggressive, be gentle and use a wash that won’t dry out your skin. Step 2 is to moisturize IMMEDIATELY after washing. This way you avoid your skin drying out. Dry skin means weak skin, that can cause more scarring from pimples and keep the scars you have now from healing quick enough. The last step is medicating. This is the most important part because using the wrong thing can not only aggravate your acne but also create new problems with your skin tone. Also it’s important to know what type of acne you have. There are blackheads, whiteheads, cystic, pustules, and etc. You are young so most likely you have whiteheads and pustules. Those come from oil glands being clogged up. Benzoil peroxide or salicylic acid works well on these. When you medicate you want to treat the pimple and the area surrounding it. Reasonbeing is that when you first notice a new pimple, that pimple has been building up to that point for about a week. So treating the immediate area around a pimple will help prevent u from getting a pimple in that spot two weeks from now. That called spot treating. The best way to medicate is to use a medicated acne wash all over your face. There are dozens of over-the-counter products available for use. Its important that you figure what’s right for your skin type and stick to that one. Another thing is to wear sunscreen after using that stuff. Some of it makes your skin sensitive to sunlight and trust me, you DO NOT want to deal with the problems that can bring, so USE SUNCREEN. spf 30 is cool. Truth is if you have acne it doesn’t go away quickly. 11 days is enough time to provide some good releif but you cant be sure. If you’ve had acne for like a long time, I strongly suggest you see a dermatologist on a regular basis. That’s your best bet. Good Luck!!
Q: How can I get really toned, smoothed and acne free skin?
My skin has little bumps and zits everywhere and I am starting a new school and I want to look good….Any help?
A: I have the same problem!
But, i heard clearasil Ultra works best. I haven’t tried it yet, but i heard you see FABULOUS results by the third day!
And it just gets better and better…
Other then that, i use St. Ives apricot scrub every night, and a gentle face cleanser in the morning.
Drink LOTS of water and try to cut out junk foods. Eat more vegetables and fruit.
Just make sure not to wash your face TOO much, because if you do, you’ll trick your face into thinking it is dry, and it will make your face EXTREMELY oilly. Which will make acne worse.
Q: what type of home remedies can I use to keep a acne free skin?
Well I cant seem to afford these types of acne medications, so I was wondering if anyone had their own way to clear up their acne without purchasing tons of medications. Please Help Me!!!
A: First thing! Avoid touching your face during the day. Always wash your hands before you touch your face.
Don’t use soap to wash your face….soap will dry it out and your face will react by creating more oil.
Use an acne cleanser to wash your face…then try warm saltwater, or better yet…toothpaste on your acne (before you go to bed)
Q: What are the best foods for acne free skin?
I’m 28 years old and still have occasional break outs. My skin is very oily but I take care of it religiously. I’m also taking a contraceptive to tame my break outs. I was just wondering what miracle foods are out there that could help keep my skin clear???
A: lots of fruits and vegetables. Vitamin C is awesome for your skin.
Q: how do you get healthy acne free skin, acne mainly on back and arms .I am 29?
I am 29 and have acne on my back and arms ,its seems as thow my skin dose not respond to any treatment .chinees treatment ,antibiotics, scrubs I have tried them all .dose any oney know of a proven natural remedy ?
A: a dramatic change in your diet may work…speak to a nutritionist.
Q: How do all the teen celebrities have acne free skin. There skin and teeth?
are so perfect. I know photo shop, but they must do something like accutain and bright smile.
A: In my case, it was going milk free that finally brought an end to my acne. However, many of them use Proactiv, have good genes, dermatologists, make-up artists… you name it. When your livelihood depends on looking good, you will do whatever it takes to look good.
Brights smiles – crest white strips. I’m a former dental assistant, and whenever I want to whiten my teeth, I use crest white strips. I wish I could show you how white my teeth are.
