Pride Month at Boswell's

Pride Month at Boswell's

Pride Month is June in commemoration of the Stonewall uprising, which began June 28, 1969. The following year, 1970, the first LGBT pride marches were held in America's largest cities. Since then, the marches have been a demonstration of exuberant liberation in the face of hate and backlash, past and present. We're proud to live and operate in Western Massachusetts, where our community values kindness, inclusion, and celebration of diversity. It is also a community that values direct action. We wish you both a happy and an involved Pride.

We are featuring a selection of books for the month that highlight history, memoir, literature, and more from the LGBTQIA+ community.
