Q: What’s the best NATURAL soap bar for sensitive, fair, acne prone skin?
I have slight acne on my chest and neck, leading up to my chin. I’ve been using dove for quite a while, but I find it leaves too much of a residue on my skin, and I want something with more natural ingredients,
but something that I can buy at the drugstore, preferably under $8. (I’m on a budget!!)

My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive and natural ingredients treat it best.
Recommendations?

A: use the Clearly natural soap use the unscented or Aloe vera this are
great for oily skin & sensitive skin this are natural organic you find at
Whole foods stores it cost $2 bucks are great this will clear up your
skin natural and gently.

Q: All-Natural Soap for Acne?
Recently I bought some almond goat’s milk soap from www.salleyeander.com and I’m really excited about using it for my body because it is absolutely all natural soap and I have pretty sensitive skin. I’m wondering, do you think using this soap on my face would be a good idea? I am already using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (the orange stuff) and it seems to be gentle enough, however, it is a little bit drying – I do have oily skin, and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything for my acne. Do you think using the all natural soap would be beneficial? I’m not expecting miraculous results, I’m just worried that it is going to create even more acne which is the last thing that I want right now. It states that it’s safe to use on every part of your body, and even that it is great for your complexion, and sally eander even makes facial washes but, do you think it would be alright to use it, or no?
Thanks!

A: Witch Hazel. It’s about .79 a bottle, is cheap, basically all natural, doesn’t dry out skin, etc. That stuff really works.

Also, try Apple Cider Vinegar diluted w/ a bit of water, or baking soda made into a paste w/ water (leaving it on overnight). DO NOT use toothpaste or a bobby pin, despite what you might have heard.

Q: Natural goatsmilk soap, good for clearing up acne?
My skin is starting to break out (only in one area though), and I was out yesterday and I was in an all-natural skin care shop; and they had these natural goatsmilk soaps.

One of them said something about it being helpful to clear up your skin and things like that (can’t remember the exact wording), so I bought it and thought it’d be worth a try.

Have you ever used this kind of soap to try and clear up breakouts? Did it work?

Thanks

A: Goat milk soap is greatly benefits since it has the same PH level
similar to our skin,Another benefit that goat milk soap has is that
contains natural alpha hydroxy acid which is a natural exfoliant that
removes dead cells for your skin, hence it indirectly is able to improve
acne , also good for acne redness, brightening the complexion .

Q: special soaps for acne? are there any natural soaps you can use for calming down acne?
i’m asking because i’ve washed my face with clean and clear, neutragina, and acenefree stuff all of which had either benzol peroxide or salicylic acid none of which worked for me. I’ve even tryed dermatoligist prescribed night morning creams plus pills.

A: Acne Vitamin Treatment
Two vitamins, namely, niacin and vitamin A have been used successfully to treat acne. Vitamin therapy should comprise the intake of 100 mg niacin, three times daily, and 50,000 international units of vitamin A, three times daily. Vitamin E, 400 mg, should be taken once daily. Continue this therapy for a month.

Zinc Treatment for Acne
Zinc is another effective remedy in the area of nutrition that seems to offer new promise of help for acne. It has shown dramatic results in some cases. Take zinc in therapeutic doses of 50 mg three times a day. Zinc is available in tablet and in capsule form. In tablet form, it is available as Zinfet – 200 mg (Yash Pharma, Bombay). The patient can take a quarter tablet so as to get 50 mg of zinc. In capsule form, zinc is available as Ulseal 220 mg (Tam Pharmaceuticals). One-fourth of the powder inside the capsule can be taken as a single dose. The patient can take a dose of 50 mg daily upto one month or till there is noticeable improvement and then reduce the dose to 25 mg.

Orange Peel Remedy for Acne
Homemade Acne Treatment with orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece stone and apply on acne affected areas.

Lemon Cure for Acne
A simple remedy at home for acne: Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results

Garlic Remedy for Acne
Garlic has been used successfully to cure acne. Rub with raw garlic several times a day. Garlic is known to cure the toughest of acne problems. The external use of garlic helps to clear the skin of spots, pimples and boils. To cure acne further, eat three seeds of raw garlic once daily for a month. This purifies the blood stream and ensures basic cleansing of blood & keeps acne away.

Coriander and Mint Juice Therapy for Acne
A teaspoon of coriander juice, mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, is another effective home remedy for pimples and blackheads. Apply mixture on the face after thoroughly washing it every night before retiring. Use mint juice in a similar manner as coriander juice.

Acne Fenugreek Treatment
Fenugreek is another useful remedy for acne. Make a paste of fenugreek leaves and apply over the face every night before going to bed. Wash off with warm water in the morning. This prevents pimples and blackheads.

Acne Cucumber Treatment
Grated cucumber applied over the face, eyes, and neck for fifteen to twenty minutes has been found effective. It is the best tonic for your complexion. Its regular use prevents pimples and blackheads.

Acne diet
Acne : Home Remedies suggested by users
All-fruit Acne diet
To begin with, the patient should take only an ‘all-fruit’ diet for a week, taking three meals a day, of fresh juicy fruits, such as apples, pears, grapes, grapefruit, pineapples, and peaches. Only unsweetened lemon or plain water, either hot or cold, should be drunk and nothing else.

Well-balanced Acne diet
After the one-week, all-fruit diet, the patient can gradually adopt a well-balanced diet with emphasis on raw foods, especially fresh fruit and vegetables, sprouted seeds, raw nuts, and wholegrain cereals, particularly millet and brown rice. Further short periods of the ‘all-fruit’ diet for three days or so may be necessary at a monthly interval till the skin’s condition improves.

Avoid strong tea/coffee, soft drinks and processed foods
Meats, sugar, strong tea or coffee, condiments, pickles, soft drinks, candies, ice cream, refined and processed foods should be avoided as far as possible.

Other Acne natural treatments
Warm-water enema
During the initial one week ‘all-fruit’ diet, a warm-water enema taken daily cleanses the bowels. Apply hot fomentation locally to open up the pores and to bring out the waste matter. Then rinse the affected parts with cold water.

Hot Epsom salts bath
A hot Epsom salts bath twice a week is beneficial in all cases of acne. This bath is prepared by adding 1 ½ kg of Epsom salts to 60 litres of water having a temperature of about 37.8° C. The patient should remain in the bath tub for 25-35 minutes till he sweats freely. After the bath, the patient should cool off gradually.

Q: Has anyone used honey glycerin soap to treat their acne, and did it work?
Recently I had a bad reaction to some salicylic acid face wash and so I’ve really been researching natural acne treatments that are not harsh. I found out that honey can help acne by killing bacteria and I wanted to know if anyone has used honey soap and saw a difference in their acne.

A: Use any antibacterial soap ( Dial ) on you face. No need for the expensive soaps and lotions that are out there.

Q: What is the best natural soap (the less ingredients the better) for very sensitive skin?
I have sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin and the only thing that works for me is the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar soap. I cannot use the liquid cleanser because it contains sodium laureth sulfate which breaks me out. However, the bar soap does leave me a little dry and I was wondering if there’s an even better soap out there. The more natural, the better.

A: You could try goat soap. It’s made with goats milk and is supposed to be really gentle on delicate and sensitive skin.

Q: What is better to treat acne?? soap and water vs skin care products?
Products like Noxema, Clean and clear, clearasil, proactiv, and neutragena. (all of which i have used to no success) So, should i just go natural and stick with soap?? is that really the answer? to simply clean my face like any other part of my body? or am i just picking the wrong products. tell me: soap or product. and why? and if product, which one do you recommend, thanks

A: Well the thing with those products is some may have certain chemicals that your skin does not agree with. Try Serious Skin Care, it worked for me because it did not have the ingredient that most skin products do. http://www.seriousskincare.com/

Q: Is there a good natural way to get rid of acne fast?
I keep my face clean all day long but seem to always have have acne no matter what soap I use, I tried clearasil but nothing has really worked yet. Looking for a natural way to get rid of it fast!

A: odzooker makes some good points, I dont think any all natural way really works but it I also think it’s dependent on the person. Some people might get away with using a simple cream from the store where others need a dermatoligist and get something stronger. I think most look at it like it’s not a problem but it can lead to scar tissue if not taken care of. I have seen my friend use a product called AcneZine with good results for a mild case. They offer a free trial so it might be worth a shot at www.acneawayfast.com

Q: Best body soap for acne?
I have body acne mostly on my arms and wholeee back, what is a good soap brand for acne that really works. I prefer like natural soaps because they dont irritated my skin, my skin is reallly sensitive. If you could just give me a name of a soap that you use for your acne that actually works that would be great!

A: Soap its not to good. but i would go for eubos the blue kind. its a soap face but id dont do any harm on the body and its also good for pimples. even though i recommend going to a dermatologist if you have body acne
good luck x

Q: ACNE and HONEY SOAP?
If a facial bar soap (store bought) has honey in it, does it mean it cleanses the skin & helps with acne? By the way, it’s a natural soap that’s mean to be a softener.

*Thank you very much in advanced!

A: Yeah, honey is really good for the skin

Q: are there any natural ways of clearing up acne ?
are there any natural ways of clearing up acne ? like soaps vitamins ect???

A: its already been proven that what you eat can cause acne, maybe you should try a diet that clears your system from the inside out.

Q: How can i get rid of acne the natural way with home remedies?
My docter prescribed acne creme for it which is all over my body, but it doesn’t work, is there something i can eat or drink to cleanse myself of toxins, or special soap to clean my skin?

A: Wash your face with gentle soap (glycerine or Dove) and warm-to-hot water twice a day and then before bed do the same but with Phiso-Hex soap.
This saw me through my pimply years.

Q: Over-the-counter or natural acne treatments?
I have acne on my chest… and shoulders, it looks terrible they’ve actually turned into sores going across my body, I don’t have any acne on my face or anywhere else though. I use moisturizing soap, and that’s it. I try not to shower too much and lose my skin’s natural oils, I’m in my late teens and a girl.
I want to be able to wear NORMAL clothes!!!!! >_<
Is there any natural or over the counter acne treatments I can buy that will actually work? My family wouldn’t take me to the doctor ;~;

A: Choosing treatments depends on your skin type, not the severity of your acne. Healthy skin will take to any kind of treatment. Unhealthy skin might need some chemical help. And by “Chemical”, I mean OTC acne products.

Change your diet a little. Eat less sugar and salt-based foods and eat more fruits and vegatables. Drink lots of water too. Don’t go overboard with the water though. So many people believe in the 8×8 myth. Look at it this way: if you’re feeling bloated from trying to reach the proper amount, it’s too much. Your body will tell you when to drink, it’s called thirst.

And do keep your chest and back clean. You do not want the bacterias to spread around and make more pimples.

Try using small percentages of adaphalene gel or benzoil peroxide. And by “small”, I mean: keep it under 3%.

Warning about benzoil: you could be using it for awhile and then just randomly get some red patches on your skin. Stop using it then and get some adaphalene. That’s good for everyone.

Q: What cream is good for guys with red dots caused by acne?
Well i have this cream but its not working. I use natural soap to wash my face day and night + the cream and no changes. what cream is good for guys that can lower red dots caused by acne on the chin?

A: Hey Holyman u can try this stuff what worked for my little brother in a week

www.StopMyAcne.info

Its very cheap so I doubt money is goint to be a problem

Good luck hunny

Q: What are some strong natural oils, soaps, etc. that help against acne?
I’ve all-ways had quite a acne problem. I’ve stopped using cover-up (clogs the pores) and putting lotion on my face for some time now. I have naturally oily skin and therefore, a great acne problem. My acne has calmed down as I’ve gotten older (I’m 17 now). I do have a ‘break out’ (besides the norm) about once a month. I use some apricot face scrub and both peroxide and rubbing alcohol. I know rubbing alcohol dries out the skin so, I use it on bad spots. I also used some prescription cream but, I’m running out and I don’t think I can get another prescription. I’m interested in using natural oils and soaps to help my problem. I also suffer from blackheads and occasionally acne on my shoulders. I’m also allergic to adhesives so, I can’t use blackhead tape. I’ve heard tea tree oil works well, does it work for people with oily skin? I also have many scars from acne, is there anything that will help them? Thank you so much for all your help and suggestions.

A: Tea tree oil really does work. I use it and it’s great just don’t use too much. A little bit will do the trick. Also there is a face mask called Aztec Secret that works really well. It comes in a powder and you mix it with water and apple vinigar. I think you could get it at any health food store. Hope that helps!

Q: Has anyone used Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions products? Do they work well?
Thinking of trying them since my current stuff isn’t working anymore and I like the fact that Burt’s Bees is natural. Which of their acne products didi you use and how well did they work for you?

A: I use Burt’s Bees garden tomato complexion soap and i love it. Any all-natural products that you choose are going to be better for your skin because they don’t contain soap, artificial dye, or fragrance. Aveda also has a very nice line of all-natural plant based products that I love and stand by.

Q: Best ALL-NATURAL products or remidies to get rid of acne?
i dont want any chemical products or anything like that because they all seem to make my acne even WORSE and are bad for my skin. They ALL make my skin extremally dry, flaky and tired and wrinkly-looking. So, any all -natural products or remidies to get rid of acne? Btw now my skin is very dry from all those Chemical acne products so i really need something natural, that WON’T damage my skin . thanks.

A: Tea tree oil soap from trader joes. but it STINKS.

Q: What all natural products help with acne and acne scars?
I have oily acne prone skin and acne scars I am trying to get rid of it. What all natural products help? Or maybee someone has a all natural recipe they could give me? Has ever tried a product with carrots in it and does it work?

A: Tea Tree Oil soap for acne. Maderma (Wal-Mart) for scarring. Drink water and stay away from chocolate and salty snacks.

Q: Can using natural products stop acne?
Like organic and paraben free products? I’m 24 and have acne since I was 10. I’ve had enough. Any other advice you can give me on this would be great.

A: Hi,

Here is some information on Aloe Vera and Tea Tree, a natural remedy, which may be of some interest to you.

The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.

Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.

Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

For more information check out the website http://www.trustwilliam.com/en-GB/Ingredients/Aloe-Vera-Trust-William/?term=Aloe+Vera&extcam=sm . You’ll see the ingredients are 99.9% Pure Aloe Vera Gel with ‘Vitamins A,C & E’ and with ‘Tea Tree’.

Hope this helps keep your acne at bay!!

Q: Trying to clear up acne: What products or natural methods have worked for you?
Trying to clear up acne: What products or natural methods have worked for you?

I wash my face twice a day, moisturize daily, and exfoliate weekly, yet I still have mild acne. What gives??

A: Tea tree oil that you can get at the health store works really well. Dab some on a cotton pad and rub it on your face. It doesn’t sound like it would work, it being an oil, but it really does.

Astringent-it really works. I use it in the morning before I do my makeup and at night. It also refreshes me.

Queen Helene mint mask- the very best. Especially against blackheads or annoying pimples, but it works in general. Its inexpensive and you can get it practically anywhere.

Coconut water- it refreshes you and keeps your skin under control. You can also get it at a health food store, such as Better Health.

Eating right also helps. I naturally am drawn to eating healthy foods. I stay fit and exercise a lot, and notice when I’m inactive that my skin seems to breakout more. I also just take care of my skin. I don’t where a lot of makeup, eyeliner and mascara and lipgloss. No face makeup whatsoever. That also helps. Being healthy and happy seems to take care of my skin, so I try to stay that way.

One thing I would not try is any of those things such as skinID and ProActive. They have harsh chemicals and most likely hurt your face before ever helping it. I use clean and clear every day in ther shower, and it makes me feel wonderful, too. And also, make sure to drink a lot of water and get a good amount of sleep, even on weekends and vacation!

Q: Does the natural acne product ACNEXUS work?
I have very oily skin. I used proactive for many years. I rarely had pimples when i used it, but my skin was just too dry and flaky. Now, I’m looking for a natural acne product that REALLY works, especially for people with oily skin. I heard ACNEXUS was one of the best natural products out there, but then i read some reviews about it… and A LOT of people dont like the product and say it doesnt work… can someone help me?

A: YES IT DOES!!!!!!!!!i used to have terrible acne all over my back! like it was so pimple covered that u could not even see the skin. i used acnexus and it cleared it all up! i get mine from ebay. ive been using it for 2 years. it rocks! only down side…it starts to smell kinda bad after a while but that doesnt meen its expired….its just all natural!

Q: ARE ORGANIC NATURAL ACNE PRODUCTS BETTER TO USE THAN BENZOYL PEROXIDE && SALICYLIC ACID ACNE PRODUCTS?
I HAVE TRIED SENSICLEAR IT DIDNT WORK,PROACTIV DID NOT WORK && NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OVER THE COUNTER ACNE MEDICINES..SO NOW I WANT TO TRY ORGANIC ACNE PRODUCTS IF ANYBODY HAS USED ANY NATURAL ACNE PRODUCTS..PLZ TELL ME..PLZ..THX!

A: I had pretty severe acne problems when i was about 17/18 years old. it only got better when my mom brought me to a skin specialist.

the doctore prescribe me with some oral medication to control my hormones and also a cream called “retin A” which is a drying agent like benzoyl peroxide. he also recommended this soap called “neutrogena” which I have used since that time.

Neutrogena is every effective in controlling my acne proned skin and controlling the oil on my face, but it can be drying. all these years I was not able to switch to any other facial cleanser without having outbreak.

Recently, my friend recommended this organic facial soap that contains “moor mud”. Some of my friends find it very drying but it worked well on my face.

different people will have different reactions to different medication. you should try out the products and see if they are suitable for your skin type.

cheers!

Q: Does anyone know a web site where i can get homemade recipes made with natural products for acne? l?
I would really like a recipe using Tea Tree Oil.

A: Dont really know any recipes, but I was going to say tea tree oil…

Try diluting it with almond oil, or with water…

Also try plain egg whites as a ten minute face mask then wash off.. you will fiind this amazing! (or let it dry and rub it off as an exfoliator…. it turns to a fine powder on your skin… then rinse..)

Q: How can you get rid of acne scars using natural products or vitamins?
Pretty girl where I work now has clear skin but has light scarring. Probably wouldn’t go to a beautician.

A: vitamin e gel capsules
makes scars fade

Q: Products or anything natural for acne scars?
I’m tan and i have darker brown acne scars left from my preteen years and really have lost hope in anything. I’ve done the lemon juice and vitamin E but am skeptical about buying expensive products. I have no problem spending money on products but i just don’t know which ones are most effective. Or even if there are natural ways.
Thanks

A: Smear some tea tree oil on the scar regularly to help it heal faster. More such solutions at http://usefulinfo-acne.blogspot.com/

Q: How can a clear up acne using natural ways/products?
I’ve had ance for years and its cleared up but every once in a while I have a breakout. I’m 18, to turn 19 in 2 months… if for some reason that helps.

A: Though the best results come with acne products, you could tame unruly skin by washing frequently, avoiding touching your face at all times, and applying alcohol to problem areas.

Q: for people who use natural products acne?
what’s a good skin care routine that includes OCM, Honey, oil and salt scrub my acne is making me sad
and the oil and salt scrub doesn’t seem to cause breakouts
@ Dr Frank
well commercial products haven’t worked and look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iQo60y912g

A: People who insist on wasting time with this sort of ‘natural product’ tend to share one thing in common, the nickname spotty!

You could try one of the many over the counter cleanser/degreasers, most are based on peroxide, Panoxyl is a typical example. If this fails the next step is to see your GP for topical or oral antibiotics. Avoid tetracycline and oxytetracyline as they are awkward to take and not very effective, minocycline or lymecycline are better.

Q: How to get rid of acne by just using natural products?
Know of anything natural,cleanser,diet…

A: Hi Kris, yes, a well-balanced diet will ensure that your body receives the vitamins and mineral it needs to support and maintain the health of the skin. Foods rich in sulphur, such as onions and garlic, may be particularly helpful to those who suffer from acne. There are also several nutritional supplements that may be helpful in the maintenance of healthy skin. Supplements of b-complex vitamins as well as vitamin C, and A are very important for the strength, growth, and vitality of the skin. Vitamin E and the mineral zinc orotate are also useful supplements as they both contain antioxidants that can help protect the skin from damage. And don’t underestimate the power of water. Water helps to hydrate the skin, plump up the glands, and move waste and nutrients through the system. Plan on drinking at least six to eight glasses of purified water each day to keep skin healthy and deter the development of acne.

Herbal remedies can be very useful in the treatment and prevention of acne. Chamomile, lavender, juniper, bergamot, dandelion root, and burdock root can all be used to reduce toxicity in the skin and improve its overall condition. Other herbs like echinacea and poke root have anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce the swelling and reduce of the blocked oil gland. Red clover may be beneficial for its estrogenic action and witch hazel has excellent astringent properties and may be very effective for cleansing acne prone skin.

You can make a poultice out of several natural ingredients and apply it to the affected area. Please look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/Acne_Home_Remedies/

Q: how can you get rid of acne? ( natural ways, products, anything!?
I WANT ONLY PEOPLE THAT HAVE ACNE, AND NOW HAVE SUCCESS AND CLEAR FACE TO ANSWER, OR ANY DEMATOLIGIST

A: In modeling school you are taught to wash your face with Noxema regular creme and to carry around a baggie with lemon wedges in it. If you get pimples you are to rub a lemon wedge on it at least 3 times a day to help dry it out without leaving scars. Lemons not only dry them up but absorb excess oils in the skin so your pores are not blocked. Very good advice, especially if you are concerned with scarring.

Q: Are there any all natural skin care products that work similarly to Differin?
I’m looking for an all natural (no chemicals, parabens, preservatives) acne product that works the same /similarly to Differn. I’m ont Differin right now and it works okay but I’m looking to switch to all natural products.

A: **I researched/experimented for a long time and found this safe, natural cure was a truly effective way to quickly and permanently rid face of pimples, black and white heads, etc. It also reduces large pores and and completely gets rid of scars. See the happy answer from “Jasmin” below ##

Vigorous massage using essential oils works wonders – sweet almond, grape seed and, particularly rosewood, have been used by skin specialists to treat and cure acne. They do not clog, and they actually diminish skin’s over production of oil. Rosewood should be diluted with grapeseed
.
So as not to pull/stretch skin, first tighten by opening mouth 3/4″ and pull lips firrmly back against teeth. Do a forward and back massage – not circular – using tips and front of fingers and sometimes palms – depending where on face you apply. For quickest results do for 15 to 20 min daily (Doesn’t have to be all in one session). Skin will start to clear and pores will reduce in as little as 2 to 3 days and see better results day by day. Scars take longer but can also be completely got rid of overtime.
My severe skin conditions started healing simply by stopping using skin harming products. I now only use a pure natural bar(tablet) soap with no coloring, no perfumes, no additives of any kind. Many moisturizers are harmful. Oils are perfect and safe, natural moisturizers. They do not leave face oily. Do not remove – splash with water and dab dry with tissues.

## My advice? LISTEN TO MUKUNDA M!!! He knows what he’s talking about. I directly emailed him because he’s gotten so many Best Answers for skincare topics. I’ve been doing the oil treatment for a little more than 3 weeks and I can’t tell you how absolutely fantastic the results are. Seriously. You will not be disappointed”

Q: Are there any natural solutions for acne scars and blemishes?
I have had acne problems for years and have tried many over the counter products. Yet my acne scars are still visible even though my skin has smoothed out over the years. Any help is appreciated!! : )
Thanks!

A: There are a number of medications; creams and acne blemish treatments that can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars.Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne

Q: What are some good, homemade/natural solutions for acne/bacne other than showering daily?
I have moderate to severe back acne, and I was wondering if I could find a convienent way to solve this problem.

A: if your a teen like i was wen i hadit, ive absolutely got no home remedies.

my advice if u can, get on accutane now if ur parents have insurance..

Q: Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions, do the products work?
I have somewhat acne prone, oily skin.
thanks in advance!!

A: Okay i have just the solution for you. I have oily skin and i am only 13 years old. What I use is an egg mask, baby powder, advil.
You would want to get an organic egg at a shoppe. And then separate the white and the yolk. By doing this you will need two bowls. And then when you have the eg separated you will need to beat the egg white until it is fluffy and NOT heavy. Continue this step by taking the egg white in your hands and ribbing it all around your face and complete by covering your whole face in a complete thin layer. Then you will need to let the egg white dry until you cant smile.(SO TRY SMILING UNTIL YOU CANT SMILE NO MORE) Then you can wash the egg white off. Next you will need to break open the egg yolk very carefully and take the yolk and slightly begin to rub your face with this yolk. Wait until you cant smile anymore. Wash off. The you need to pat your face until partly dry. You don’t want to over dry your face. The you will need a peace of ice and rub it on your face (make sure to get those tricky areas where you are mostly greasy*).And there you have it!!Perfectly nice skin.. Please repeat in the mornings and at night before you go to bed!!!

I am getting Acutane. but there is a one month waiting period before you can get it. and im getting more and more cysts. and i dont want any more scars!

A: First, I’d highly suggest trying natural treatments for acne that focus on the real problems that actually cause acne. Acne itself has nothing to do with your skin and anything you put on your skin will never cure you.

What you have to do is treat acne internally. When you do that, your acne will actually go away and stay away permanently. One surefire way to stop all your breakouts in 3 days is to eat only apples and drink lots of water for those three days. This gives your body a bit of a break as less energy is focused on digestion. This allows your body to clear out any junk floating inside and allows its healing processes to go to work on your acne problems.

Q: Burt’s Bees natural acne solutions?
Ok so today I got the burts bees natural acne solutions, the face wash, the lotion, and the spot treatment. is there anyone who has used these products or knows someone who has, and can tell me if they work? has anyone gotten worse while using them?I like the fact that they are natural, and im hoping that they wont irritate my skin. i have several questions about the products, if you can answer any of them-thanks!

1. do they actually work?
2. if they do- how long does it take to see some results?
3. i use epidoue prescribed cream on my face at night, is it ok to continue using that and the spot treatment?
4. i know the lotion is mousturizing, but will it make me too oily?
5. is says i can use the spot treatment night and day, would it be too much too to doboth?
6. i wear makeup during the days (foundation, cover-up ect.), will having the spot treatment on make my make up look weird or would it be bad for my face?

thanks!

A: There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.

It was even televised on TV.

It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It’s been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)

Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:

Search up “Cee En’s Acne Solution” or “best acne solution ever” on ebay.

First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can purchase 1 month supply for $40 or 6 month supply for $160

It’s expensive, but the product DOES work.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.

I don’t have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.

I hope this helps. =)

Q: How much does the Burt’s Bees natural acne solution cost?
I’m on the Burt’s Bees website right now but it doesn’t tell me the price of their natural acne solution kit. Does anyone know the price?

Also, do I have to order this product, or is it available in stores?
And if you’ve tried it, does it work well?

A: it cost $10 each for face cleanser, face lotion, acne spot treatment it kind pricey target has it also walmart Ive not try it yet but Burts Bees has great products you can go to makeupalley.com for reviews sign up now.

Q: Is the Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions Lotion good?
Is it moisturzing????

A: it is great for moisturizing, but it feels very heavy and very sticky on your face and it doesn’t go away. it works nice at nighttime, but for day time use, no!! far to heavy especially if you wear makeup aswell!

Q: Does burt’s bees natural acne solutions 3 step regimen kit help with cysts?

A: I did some research and talked to my doctor to find the most common causes of acne.

• Hormones: The number one cause of acne is the production of sex hormones, known as androgen, that begins at puberty. This is why majority of acne sufferers are adolescents and teens. Hormones are responsible for then acne flare-ups during menstruation and pregnancy.

• When the sebaceous gland is stimulated by androgens, it produces extra sebum. In its journey up the follicle toward the surface, the sebum mixes with common skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from the lining of the follicle. While this process is normal, the presence of extra sebum in the follicle increases the chances of clogging — and acne.

• Stress: can also cause the production of hormones, such as cortisol, which can aggravate acne. Stress brings upon different hormone levels. With hormone changes the body prompts the skins oil glands to enlarge, secreting more oil. Which causes white heads, black heads and pimples.

• Oily or heavy make up: Heavy make-up clogs the pores and oily make-ups add more oil, which only adds to the problem if oily skin already exists. Cosmetics, especially certain moisturizers, foundations and pomades contain lanolin, petrolatum, vegetable oils, butyl stearate, lauryl alcohol and oleic acid.

• Certain medications and steroids: Vitamins are good for your body, But an excess of vitamins B1, B6 and B12 can cause acne flare-ups. These vitamins are good for the skin, but avoid overuse.

• Diets: For some people, a diet that is high in refined carbohydrates and sugars can actually aggravate their acne.

• Over abrasive cleansing: Harsh exfoliators can damage skin and spread infections.

• Picking and squeezing: This can actually send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause scarring.

• Environmental irritants: such as high humidity and pollution. High humidity actually causes swelling of skin. Pollution is of course is a big cause for clogging your pores.

• Genes: Family members who are also acne sufferers. Acne is inherited and severe cases known as cystic acne usually come from heredity.

And..,

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

http://www.17acnetreatments.com

P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She’s sharing her story at her site:

http://www.my-acne-solution.com/clicks/clickthrough.html?a=150901

Maybe you could learn from her inspirational story.

Good luck.

Q: Homeopathic or natural solutions to acne scarring?
I’m 20 years old and thanks to Proactiv my skin is clearing up nicely. I would now like to tackle my scars. Most of them are on my cheeks and have been there for years (therefore, deep rooted). Do you know of any ways I can start treating them without risking breakouts?

A: Give Aloe Vera Gel a try. I used it on scars left over from the shingles and over several months of applying it several times a day the scars went away. I also have used Nivea soft moisturizing cream with jojoba oil and vitamin e. You can so by vitamin e oil and put it on your cheeks.
The scaring won’t go away over night so be patient.
Good Luck

Q: Natural Acne Solutions?! To Prepare At Home?
What are some natural acne medications that work better then the ones that I can just buy in a drug store?

A: put pure honey on your face each morning for 10 to 15 mins. it works really well. try it

Q: Best Natural Acne Solutions?
I’m a 16, almost 17 year old girl and I have been suffering from mild acne for about 3 or 4 years now. I was able to keep that under control with a topical my doctor prescribed for me. Around may, I went to the doctors again because I was getting really bad and uncontrolledled acne on my chest and back, and just a few on my face. She put my on Erythromicin, antibiotictic and it didn’t help at all.
Since then, I have tried many acne face cleansers (avene, spectro gel, ganrnier, clean and clear etc.)
I am also on the pill and have been taking that for almost 2 months now without much change. I also use the highest percentage of Differen cream.
The dermatologist has recommended i stick it out for a month or 2 longer, and then consider accutane, but that drug scares the heck out of me!! Plus I know that my acne just needs to run its course so I don’t want to risk the side effects
Does anyone have any natural home remedies or products I can try?
Any information would be helpful.

A: Yeah, for the last year I’ve been having some acne as well. I’ve been given all sorts of creams and such, but recently my mom found out about apple cider vinegar. It has worked better than anything else I have tried.

Basically, I use Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar, mix it with like a cup of water added with honey and drink that everyday.

Also, before I go to sleep I apply some of the vinegar directly on the pimples/acne. It really works. The only thing is that it kinda smells but it’s only on your face at night so…

My face cleared up really fast. The pimples basically go away and you don’t even have to pop them or anything.

Good luck! (btw this is all natural so it’s not harmful to your skin) :]

Q: Quick, easy, natural acne solutions?
So, i had major acne so i bought an acne clearing scrub, it worked but it took too long so i decided i’d try another. My new one made me break out! My old one is gone and i don’t have any money left to buy it again. I’m going to my friends house in a week and i look horrible, what do you suggest i do?!
Oh, and i got my nose pierced. I haven’t been washing around it so i wouldn’t hit it, but now i have a bunch of blackheads around it!

A: Neutrogena’s Oil Free Acne Wash is great. I also suggest Burt’s Bees Herbal Blemish Stick – it’s fantastic.

Since you don’t have the money now you here are a few things you can try at home.
Option 1: Sugar, water, and olive oil.
Option 2: Aspirin. http://hairremoval.about.com/od/shaving/a/aspirin-mask.htm
Option 3: Drink green tea and/or use brewed tea bags on your skin.

Q: What are some natural acne solutions!?
Leave comment plz

A: Well these arent solutions but they can help:

Wash your face often (oil can build up)
Dont drink too many sodas
Dont pick at your face (just makes it worse)
Try to stay stress free

Q: What is the best natural acne remedy that you have tried?
Currently I have acne all over my face, and I am sick of it. Once school gets out in May, I think I’m going to get on Acutane, but until then, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a natural acne remedy that would work for my situation. Thanks.

A: I used Ivory soap (99% pure) and warm water, washed my face gently with my hands, not a cloth. Then I splashed my face with warm water five times, then cooler water 3 times then cold water twice. I patted my face, not rubbed dry.

Then, I would apply Noxema face cream only to my blemishes. Just a dot on each and let it disappear, don’t rub. My face cleared up in about 30 days with this, and I only had an occasional blemish throughout high school after that because I continued this regime twice daily. First thing in the morning, and last thing at night.

Q: What is the best natural acne treatment (not proactive)?
I have heard a lot of awful stuff about proactive, one of them being that it messes up your PH balance, so I am looking for a treatment that is natural and will not make me break out when I stop using it. Thanks for your hep

A: I’ve tried a lot of medications before but haven’t really help. As a last resort i choose natural remedies. I found that it has the real power of curing my acne. I’ve tried it and it really works for me, in less than one week you can already notice a lot improvement. I hope it helps you too.

Q: What is the best natural acne scar removal treatment available?

A: Try using Vitamin E for a few months. If that doesn’t work try 3 in 1 Hydrating Treatment by Neutrogena. I swear it works wonders. I had acne scars for over a year and after using this for 2 weeks it’s faded significantly.

Q: what is the best all natural acne treatment tht isn’t expensive?
i have tried about 20 different acne treatments and the harsh chemicals in the products dry my face out no matter how much i moisterize or makes me break out more. so i want to try an all natural acne treatment tht is not expensive. what are your opinions and what are the best all natural acne treatments?

A: Hi, you should try this product. Its the number one rated acne treatment of 2008. ( Proactiv was number four, so you know this stuff is good lol) I just started using it and its working great for me.
Q: What is the best and effective natural acne kit?
What is the best and effective natural acne kit? I used to use Proactiv, but it didn’t work for me. So right now, I am looking for all-natural and effective acne kit. If possible, please list the price of the kit and where I can buy it at. Thx

A: It can be difficult to find the right types of natural acne scar treatment. After all, home remedies are inexpensive but often do not provide enough in the way of results, and engineered products found in stores can be harmful for your skin or expensive for your wallet! However, there are a number of acne scars natural treatment products that won’t break your budget while they improve your complexion. Here are a few that you may want to look into if you have problems with acne scarring on your skin.

Natural treatment for acne scarring products

Bioskincare is a natural treatment for acne scar product that can rejuvenate skin that is plagued by acne scars (even severe types of scars, such as “ice pick scars”) with an effect that causes a diminished appearance of such blemishes. The product accomplishes this by using biological enzymes and natural amino acids to renew damaged skin and eliminate scars as well as dead skin cells.

Afterward, the product’s natural ingredients allow it to fuse the skin cells and improve the skin’s production of natural peptides, which takes away the redness and severity that make many acne scars so noticeable and annoying to deal with. You can get various products from this line starting at around $50 or so, which is a good price in comparison to similar products that accomplish far less.

Zenmed’s scar treatment kit is another way to utilize a lot of natural ingredients to limit the appearance of acne scars as well as a host of other types of skin blemishes. Aside from acne scars, you can also ease the appearance of (or remove altogether) issues such as dark spots, freckling and spotting resulting from sun exposure, as well as general skin effects related to aging. The microdermabrasion complex itself is assisted by comfrey and green tea, which are two natural ingredients that have a number of wonderful effects on the body. A Zenmed kit will run you about $60, which again is a very good value.

These are just a couple of the inexpensive natural acne scar treatment choices that are available to those who need them. You should definitely consider these as well as other products if you have had problems with acne leaving scars on your skin that you want to remove or diminish in appearance. Many have already used these acne scarring natural treatment products with great success, and you can join them if you feel that these products will work for you.

Q: What’s the best natural or at-home acne treatment?
I’ve always struggled with moderate acne, and I’ve tried just about every over the counter acne treatment and even some prescription products, but they’ve never really worked completely. Most products at least keep my acne under control, but none of them have ever really reduced my acne at all.

So I’ve been thinking about trying some natural or at-home acne treatments, but I’m not sure what to use. So what would be the best at-home acne remedy that can give me really good results? And are there any treatments that work fairly quickly? Thank you!

A: Well,I do have terrible acne and I found that my skin type is sensitive skin and it makes me harder to find the right products that I could use to reduce my acne. That is when I tried Clinique 3 Steps Skincare Regime and it really works for my acne and now I have less breakouts after 3 months usage and I only need to work on my scars from my previous acne to improve my skin complexion.Since Clinique 3 Steps works for all skin types,I would recommend you to try this product since it has the basics of skincare regime and work wonders on your skin. However, you could also try these homemade remedies if you want to improve your chance of healing.Good luck trying these at home(:

Honey Paste-Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.

Orange peel-Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and apply to acne affected areas.

Basil tea-Basil tea like neem is effective in killing bacteria. Drinking it twice a day can do wonders to the skin.

Coconut Oil-Coconut oil is a cheap and easily available acne solution. Regular use of coconut oil over a period of time helps to clear your skin.

Lemon Juice-A simple remedy at home for acne: Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results.

Well, these are the remedies that work gentle on your skin while getting rid of acne.Hope this helps and great skin wishes

Q: what is the best natural cure for acne?
Hi, what is the best natural cure for acne? I have already tried coconut oil, what are others?
Thanks!

A: Time.

Q: Does anyone know the best natural acne cleanser (not acne system) for acne?
I am already on a system, I want to get off of it, but also, I don’t want a cleanser that has dryness to it, like salycilic acid and benzoyle peroxide.

A: Lemon juice with a dab of lime juice is a great natural cleanser.
Yogurt is also a great cleanser.

Items such as yogurt, honey, and cream are great moisturizers.

To refine your pores, try rosewood oil, lavender oil, or clove oil from the naturals store mixed with a little grapeseed oil. (put it on at night and wash it off in the morning with Ivory soap)

An oatmeal mask is great to get your skin fresh and clean. To treat acne sores, dab a slice of raw potato or cucumber on it.

btw, sunshine naturally kills acne bacteria!

Q: Whats the best natural/organic acne cleanser?
Okay I wanted to go more natural so I’m looking for a new cleanser that has mostly organic ingredients. What are the bestfor acne prone combination skin? Thanks!

A: Stay away from ProActiv, it’s junk. That stuff made my skin peel and burn.

My absolute favorite wash ever is Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face wash. It’s made with tea tree oil and castille soap which makes it extra gentle and it works! IIRC it’s made of 80% organic ingredients, completely vegan, and not tested on animals. Best of all it’s only $7-8 for an 8 oz bottle. DE has a store locator on their site so you can find it near you. I usually buy it at Whole Foods or Earth Fare.

Q: what is the best natural acne scar remover?
i have like 10 acne scar and its bothering me and im like very shy to go outside my house w/o make up and it has brought down my confidence

Vitamin therapy should comprise the intake of 100 mg niacin, three times daily, and 50,000 international units of vitamin A, three times daily. Vitamin E, 400 mg, should be taken once daily. One-fourth of the powder inside the capsule can be taken as a single dose.

Q: What is the best natural cure for Acne?
I have had acne on and off for years now and can’t seem to get rid. Anyone got any effective suggestions. Please don’t say normal regular washing.

A: .*Please read this response I received from feroz who had suffered from acne for 12 years and had tried countless treatments and only got rid of it completely using the simple home treatment given below.

“From: frz187
Subject: Re: hey mukunda this is feroz
Message: mukunda thank you so much, im officially acne free after 2 1/2 weeks. if it wasnt for your advice i dont know what i would have done…one thing i noticed that helped me with mine was vigorously rubbing in olive oil washing it off then applying neat lavender oil to infected areas..”

TREATMENT
I’ve had incredible results simply massaging with essential oils. Oils such as olive, sweet almond, grape seed and lavender are good and have been used by skin specialists to successfully treat and cure acne. They do not clog and, cause breakouts and surprisingly, lessen skin’s over production of oils. Rid me of acne and healed ALL of my many (some severe) skin conditions and removed all blemishes and scars and gave me a totally clear, healthy and radiant skin.

It’s best to quite vigorously massage into skin. In just two days you will start seeing results. Skin will start clearing and will also tighten, look and feel smoother and firmer.
If focus massage on any scars, blemishes and make massage more vigorous this will greatly minimize them. Overtime massage will rid face of them all.
Oils are perfect moisturizers. Do not remove. Simply splash face with water and dab dry with tissues. Does not leave face oily.
Please contact me if need more details or clarification*

Q: Products or anything natural for acne scars?
I’m tan and i have darker brown acne scars left from my preteen years and really have lost hope in anything. I’ve done the lemon juice and vitamin E but am skeptical about buying expensive products. I have no problem spending money on products but i just don’t know which ones are most effective. Or even if there are natural ways.
Thanks

A: Smear some tea tree oil on the scar regularly to help it heal faster. More such solutions at http://usefulinfo-acne.blogspot.com/

Q: how long will it take to cure acne scars using natural remedies?
I have acne scars that are disgusting. First, they are not too severe but noticeable enough to be gross. Will they go away naturally? In order to speed up the process, I have been rubbing ice cubes on my face, and putting on a daily honey mask for about 45 minutes (to supplement my night face mask of prescribed medicine as well as antibiotics). Will natural cures work, and if so, how long will they take to reduce or remove the scars. If possible, tell me other natural solutions for reduction as well. thank you.

A: You can cure your acne as quick as 3 days using natural remedies, i have cured in 3 days, and you can find out how from here:-

Q: are there any natural methods of reducing acne scars?
i had this bad acne breakout right when school started in august and it really scared me cause my acne is usually really mild and easy to get rid of. now that most of it is gone, i have to deal with the scars which take forever to go away… if you know any natural remedies of reducing scars, please tell me!! thanks.

A: I read on another Forum that dealt with Acne Treatments and Treatment for Scarring due to Acne that you can treat Acne Scars naturally by:
2-3 Times Per Day, after thoroughly cleansing your face, take cotton squares saturated with Vinegar and cover your face and other areas of your body where you have Acne Scarring.
Lemon Juice was also recommended as being used for the Treatment of Acne Scars, following the same instructions for application.

Q: Acne scars and pimples- natural ways to get rid of them?
Does anyone know any good acne scar and pimple removal remedies that are natural? and also has it worked on you?

My friend told me honey worked but how many times a day should we apply honey? and how long do we have to wait before washing it?

A: Here is a simple tip that you can use to reduce your acne scars and pigmentation.

The Oil Cleansing Method
What you will need:
Warm Water
Cold Water
Clean Towels
Castor Oil
Olive Oil

The first thing you need to do is to wash your face gently to remove excess dirt and oils from the surface.

You will then need to warm a clean towel in warm water and apply it to your face for 3 minutes. Do the same thing with the cold water but this time for one minute.

Carry out both the warm water and cold water procedure about 3 times but always finish with cold and then pat dry with another clean towel.

Next mix a small amount of castor oil with a small amount of olive oil. A 50/50 ratio will do just fine. Apply the mixture to your skin and let it stay there for 30 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel and you are good to go.

TC…

Q: What is a natural remedy for acne scars?
I dont like using chemicals in over- the- counter products, so are there any natural ingredients I can put together myself at home to help my scars?

A: not a home remedy, but easy way….Vitamin E – just poke a small hole in the tablet and apply the oil on your skin.

Q: How can you get rid of acne scars using natural products or vitamins?
Pretty girl where I work now has clear skin but has light scarring. Probably wouldn’t go to a beautician.

A: vitamin e gel capsules
makes scars fade

Q: can i fade acne scars with natural remedies?
is there anything i can do to get rid of my acne scars! they are really lowering my self esteem. i was soo happy to stop getting acne, but than i was like WHAT!? i have to deal with SCARS now?! it seems like its never ending! i rather not go out and buy more products, it seems like ive spent way to much money on my skin. is there anything i can do at home? thanks in advance!

A: wow! i had this exact question about a year ago and people always told me to “wait it out” or use thin slices of potatoes and rub them on my face. neither of these worked, so i searched up some more online. what you need is some thing that will exfoliate your skin and take off all the dead cells, which create the scars. a good, cheap exfoliant that has been my life saver is, surprisingly, cornmeal. take some cornmeal and mix in a little bit of your favorite soap (make sure it is face soap). take this mixture and use it to wash your face. scrub gently and not too long, or you might irritate the skin. after a few minutes, wash it off, gently pat your face dry, and apply a face moisturizer. you will instantly feel the difference and scars should go away in about a month or so. depends on your skin type

Q: How do I get rid of acne scars in a natural way?
I have had acne since I was 9, but it’s gone now, and the scars look a little deep. How can I get rid of them

A: The natural ways to remove scars are easy and safe. Find out about different natural acne scar removal methods and decide which method is best suited for you. Following are some of the effective tips of removing acne scars in a natural way.

Water plays a vital role in the natural acne scar removal process. Drink sufficient water and regular intake of water helps the skin to retain its natural moisture and removes the dead cells. It also helps to form new cells of the skin and hides the acne scars. Drinking enough water helps to flush out the toxins and results into glowing skin.

Prepare a home pack by mixing rose water and sandalwood and apply it on the scars. You can also use aloe Vera or natural seed oils for the removal of acne scars in a natural way.

thanks bye tc

Q: What is a natural way to get rid of acne and acne scars?
Well I have acne scars and don’t know how to get rid of them.
I want a natural way…
I also get acne every now and then is there a natural way to get rid of it?

A: Cleanse daily, avoid washing away natural oils with soaps or washes, this causes skin to produce more oil than normal which clogs pores. I recommend Oil Cleansing Method (OCM), it doesn’t strip away natural oils so is healthy, reduces acne and heals scars. Mix half Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) to moisturize and half Castor Oil (CO) to cleanse, change mix as your skin changes, also try adding tea tree oil as it’s antibacterial. Massage mix into your face, then put a hot face cloth onto your face for at least 1 minute, this opens up pores letting the oil cleanse. Wipe off oil, any trace amounts of oil are absorbed so skin won’t be greasy. http://www.moogoo.com.au/category13_1.htm Have your own face cloth and towel, keep them clean and dry to avoid bacteria growth which can cause spots. Moisturize daily, as long as it’s not greasy it won’t cause spots, but don’t be scared to use oils such as Bio Oil which will heal scars too, remember oil is actually good for your skin.

Once a week steam to open pores by putting your head under a towel over a bowl of hot water, but don’t do this during breakouts as it stimulates blood flow and oil glands which can make things worse. Exfoliate weekly to scrub off dead skin, use something with rounded beads as things such as apricot kernels have sharp edges which cause small cuts leading to spots. Another way to exfoliate is cosmetic vinegar which also promotes circulation, regulates skins pH and is antiseptic. Mix 500ml of apple cider vinegar, 3ml lavender essential oil, 3ml rosemary essential oil, 2ml rosewood essential oil, and 2 tablespoons glycerine. Place into a glass bottle, use as cleanser by adding 1 tablespoon vinegar to 1 cup of water. Try masks too, they are easy to make and there are many recipes online, see Make Your Own Cosmetics http://www.makeyourcosmetics.com or Pioneer Thinking http://www.pioneerthinking.com try this mask;

Strawberry acne mask;
Ingredients: ½ cup fresh strawberries, 1 egg white, 2 teaspoons of honey.
Mix together ingredients until smooth using a blender or a fork. To use spread over face and leave for 15 minutes, rinse off with cool water and pat dry. This one is good as strawberries are rich in salicylic acid which is commonly used in acne treatments, honey is also antibacterial.

Keep yourself healthy, diet is a big factor so make sure to get a healthy diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables as well as a lot of water, but avoid salty foods as iodine aggravates acne, try also a good multivitamin – vitamins A, B6, zinc and chromium help to clean up acne. Get plenty of exercise, sleep and stay stress-free. Pay particular attention to your skin during harsh weather when it is more prone to damage, also avoid agrivation from the sun by using plenty of sunscreen. Make-up is best avoided all together, but if you do wear it use as little as possible and keep your make-up clean as dirty sponges or hands in make-up causes spots. Use mineral foundation as it has great coverage but is light so won’t clog pores and is free from harmful ingredients, most commercial brands make mineral ranges now so it’s easy to find.

Q: How long does it take for acne scars to fade when using pure, natural honey every night?
So I’ve heard that using pure and natural honey will help fade your acne scars .. I started this last night and have seen a bit of improvement. I want to know how long it will take to see a lot of improvement.
And please don’t post the whole “use proactiv” or any other medicine crap. Just answer if you have had experience with this or know the answer somehow. Thank you! (:

A: the body needs time to heal itself. I would suggest increasing your intake of Vitamin A as well by eating/drinking carrots because helps heal the skin. Honey by itself may take a while, as do any natural topical agents.

Q: Does anyone know of a natural way to get rid of acne scars?
I have acne scars on my back. I would like to lighten them without the use of chemicals or RetinA. Does anyone know of some natural remedies?

A: I’ve heard Bio- oil is good, it contains PurCellin oil apparently (what ever that is!) but no RetinA (I don’t think it does, but check on the website anyway). Hope it helps!

Q: how to remove the acne scars in natural way?
im using a potato as my friends says… is there someting another that i can use?

A: I only know about the potato. oh, and add a drop or two lemon essence..

Q: How can I treat cystic acne scars without prescription meds or a natural way?
I’ve been off accutane for a few months but now I have a few cystic acne scars on the side of my face from the severe acne I had. What kind of cream could I use or natural supplement could I take to heal the scars, repair the damaged skin or make the cystic acne scars shrink.

Please do not recommend any facial peels, doctor prescription drugs or injections. I’ve had a few shots of cortizone to the scars but with minimal results and I spent alot of $$. I’m currently using over the counter Cicaplast cream which costs me $25 for a small tube.

A: 1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.
2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.
3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.

Q: Anyone know a remedy for acne that is natural?
Acne on the face, shoulders and back…almost cyst like. Does anyone have or has used a natural remedy to help reduce the acne and the scaring?

A: Firstly my answer is a long term plan and not short term, it’s impossible to get rid of scars or spot on your back even with medication in few weeks and months as well because scars take 27days to heal and show new skin

1. Stop picking at any pimples you get and avoid sun as much as possible..
2. Do not use deodorant soap or washes to wash your face.
3. Mostly use only cool or cold water to wash your face.
4. Wash your face only 2 or at the most 3 times in a day.
5. Rest of the day if you require just splash some cool or cold water and pat dry or air dry your face.
6. Keep hair off your face.
7. Do not sleep on your face.
8. Avoid scrubbing the face.
9. Drink 15-20 glasses of water in a day.
10. To speed healing of acne and improve your facial complexion start eating more vegetables and fruits.
11. Avoid artificial sugar.
12. Avoid refined flour.
13. Almost give up beef and pork and alcohol.
14. Eat chicken and fish in moderation only and eggs as well.
15. Last but not the least sleep well at night.

Doctors say diet cannot cause acne but it’s actually the diet that causes all problems.
I am not asking you to give up things you like forever but until you see good improvement and when you eat something just eat in moderation and never eat too much of a particular type of food.

Medication will give you a relief but as soon as you stop it they will be back with vengeance, for severe acne you may want to goto doctor, however observing good diet can show you tremendous improvement in 5 – 6 months.
Remember medication has it’s own side effects like hairfall, acidity, sleepy state of mind.

Remember if you have severe acne do visit a doctor however you can atleast see how much difference a complete change in diet makes, usually 5-6months after you switch to healthier diet.

All the best

Q: What is a natural remedy for acne scars?
I dont like using chemicals in over- the- counter products, so are there any natural ingredients I can put together myself at home to help my scars?

A: not a home remedy, but easy way….Vitamin E – just poke a small hole in the tablet and apply the oil on your skin.

Q: What is a good natural remedy for acne?
I have acne and its getting worse and we don’t have the money for me to go to the doctor for it. I’ve been using acne cleaner on my face and back but its not really working. What are some things that i could do to get rid of my acne, but not have to go out and buy anything special?

A: • The use of essential oils – Tea tree oil, clove oil and lavender oil are among the best oils to be used against acne. These works even better if diluted with grape seed oil. After application of the oils you may use Rose water or ice as reliever for swollen acne area.

• Herbs and spices – A paste of black cumin seed powder and a paste of cinnamon powder mixed with honey are some herbs which act fast and effectively for patients suffering from chronic acne condition. Other active herbs and spices are pomegranate powder mixed with fresh lime, a paste of neem powder and a blend of turmeric powder with sandalwood or turmeric with mint juice. You may also apply freshly cut clove of garlic on the acne area and left overnight.

• Diet and exercise – There is nothing except a better dieting and exercises that can keep you healthier. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. Drinking at least 8 – 10 glasses of water and doing required exercises help flushing out the body’s toxins. Avoid as much as you can greasy/oily foods as these are among the factors contributing in acne problems.

Q: Hello, I am developing worst kind of acne breakouts, is there any natural over the counter acne remedy?
I am developing worst kind of acne breakouts, is there any natural over the counter acne remedy that is safe and effective even for having sensitive skin.

A: most acne medication that are available in the market are either ineffective or they have some sort of side effect. The thing that worked for me was Acne getaway 101E. it has a strong smell but it is effective, plus it leaves the skin healthy unlike most acne medication which dry out the skin.

Q: Wats a great herbal or natural remedy for acne prone skin?
Ok the problem is i hav horrible skin n I tried many things but nothing seems to help n proactive dint even work jus made my skin worse sadly the only thing that worx is herbal remedies but i cant seem 2 find the best 1 so any help? Also it cant make my skin dark b/c for sum reason my skin is getting dark and i am naturally very lite skinned.

A: Tea tree oil.

Q: Natural acne remedy, help??!?
I’m on benzaclin right now. (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) It’s not as effective as my old medicine, which had to stop because my skin was way too irritated. I was wondering if any natural remedies would be safe to use with my medication, and what.

A: believe it or not honey is a natural disinfectant and will help clear up acne. It will feel gross but it will help. Also aspirin is made from salicylic acid which is an acne medicine so you could crush up some aspirin and add a little water or even honey to make a natural acne medicine.

Q: How many natural acne remedies can i do a day?
i know alot of natural acne remedies that i would likie to try out but i dont know hoe many i should do a day. For example, how many times can i wash my face a day(with plain water)?

A: That depends on what kind of skin you have. If like me you have Oily, problem skin, washing my face more than twice a day will cause it to break out. I’ve realised that soap is probably the worst thing I can use. The soap washes away my ‘natural oil’ and my skin will then try to replace it and therefore cause excess grease and spots.

Using as hot as possible water also helps my skin. Maybe it’s worth a go?!

If you’re in the UK, try ‘Boots Acne relief’ tablets. They come in an olive colour box. I think they are brilliant, and highly recommended.

Q: do anyone know a natural remedy for acne?
i have very sensitive skin and could not use cosmetic medicine due to allergy.only natural herbs or fruits can help.beside lemon, what else could help get rid of acne and how long

A: 1)Mix together honey and cinnamon powder until it’s a paste consistency. Apply the paste at night to pimples before going to bed and wash it off the next morning with warm water. Repeat this procedure for two weeks and pimples will disappear forever.
2)Make an orange peel paste by grinding orange peel in some boiling water. Let it cool and apply on and around acne and pimples. This can be used any time.
3)Mix lime juice and rose water in equal portions. Apply on acne and or pimples and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Then rinse off with lukewarm water.
4) Use ripe tomato pulp on acne and pimples and keep on up to 1 hour, then wash off with warm water.
5)Apply raw papaya (including the skin and seeds) on pimples and acne.

Q: Skin Care Help! Acne… Natural Remedy?!?
I’m 23 and I’ve had mild acne since highschool. Here’s what I do now:
-wash my face w/ a mary kay bar soap a.m. & p.m.
-use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, then an oil-free lotion
-I eat healthy for the most part
-change my pillow case every 2 days
-I hardly wear make up.. and when I do I use Bare Escentuals Mineral MakeUp

I’ve tried Proactiv twice and it worked at first.. but it wasn’t for me. I don’t want to try anything harsh.. like drugs from a dermatologist.. Has anyone tried anything that is natural & safe that has worked?! I’ve been researching Acnezine and other detoxing products. Anyone tried those?! I’m in desperate need. Anyone who suffers from acne knows how hard it is. Please help!

If there’s a dermatologist out there that could tell me how the detoxing natural remedies work that would be Awesome!

A: i actually know of a product that works, its pricey though. it’s called Zeno, it’s a little hand held device that clears up acne, it’s been proven to get rid of your pimples in 24hrs. it costs a $150 dollars comes with 60 treatments then the refills are only 25 dollars. i say you really have nothing to lose because if you dont like it there is a money back guarantee go to this website to find out more information. www.myzeno.com

good luck

Q: Is there a natural remedy for HORMONAL acne on the chin?
I have significant hormonal fluctuations about 7-10 days before menses due to high androgen levels. I did some research on a dug called Spironolactone used to treat hormonal acne, but causes irregular menstural cycles & has caused tumors in lab rats. I don’t want to risk it. Is there anything NATURAL I can do to lower my androgen levels? I have a pretty good facial regimen already….my problem is obviously internal (hormonal).

A: Chin acne is an affliction that creates its own set of issues for those suffering pimples on this part of the body and it is interesting that recent research both reinforces some of what we already know about chin acne, but also creates some new pointers to treating the problem.

Acne on the chin is obviously like acne that affects other parts of the body in that it’s most common cause is hormonal change, which occurs throughout your life. Puberty commences the changes as sexual hormones, called androgen, are produced and these change during adolescence and into adulthood.

Generally the changes will ’stabilize’ at adulthood as hormone levels in the body settle down to a more regular situation and the alterations at a hormonal level to not translate into the skin care issues that result in acne conditions and so forth.

But with chin acne, there are some other issues that you need to know about also, concerning how best to treat the condition given that acne on the chin can be more stubborn and of course are highly visible. There are therefore concealers and other skin care products that are frequently used to cover up the pimples on the chin.

This is where the problem is for many people suffering from acne. They are using products, often heavily laden with various chemical compounds, which simply do not agree with them.

It is vital that you ensure that whatever products you are using they are used properly and are compatible with your skin type and overall health and lifestyle factors. Some of these skin care items can not only be damaging and actually greatly worsen your chin acne condition, but can be outright dangerous for you to use.

During the course of reviewing natural acne treatments we have looked closely at cosmetics and moisturisers that can lead to greater chin acne breakouts because make-up, for instance, can block the sebaceous pores which then leads to blackheads and to other inflammatory acne on the chin or elsewhere.

Frequently people will overdo the use of microdermabrasion or peels that simply expose their skin, which has been rendered more delicate, to bacterial infection and greater acne infection and ‘contamination’.

You therefore need to look at what triggers your chin acne condition and take the appropriate steps to treat it. Remembering the hormonal background to acne breakouts means you should be focusing upon an ‘internal’ treatment, ideally a natural treatment that creates less disruption and danger to your body by not introducing foreign or harmful chemicals into the body.

Consider whether you smoke, for instance, which can greatly worsen the chin acne condition by producing more sebum (oil) and the nicotine itself can irritate the skin as well, thus creating further conditions that are ideal for acne infestation.

There is no single cure for your acne condition and the important thing to remember is this: you need to consider your own, personal situation because everyone is different and two, you should try a natural treatment to your chin acne, or any other acne from which you suffer. Natural treatments are available and should be use.

Q: What’s a natural remedy for acne?
I have the worst blackhead problem, and I have tried so many creams, so, dont recommend any creams or medications. What are some natural ways of removing blackheads is my main question? I do drink a lot of water mostly, does that help any? What foods are helpful for keeping a good complection, and what should i avoid?

A: 1. Use a mild scrub or exfoliant to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead.

2. Pat your face dry.

3. Place a slightly warm compress on your face for approximately 10-15 minutes in order to soften the blackhead, making it easier to remove.

4. Pat your face dry again.

5. Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.

6. Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You’re trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.

Q: best natural remedy for acne scars?
i’ve never really had bad acne up until recently i started using proactive regularly. i don’t get many break outs anymore but i still have red spots on my face as if i still had acne which are the scars.

what is the best natural treatment you’ve used with good results? i know vitamin e, aloe vera gel, rosehip seed oil, olive oil, placing tomatoes on your skin, or rubbing honey on your skin… but which have you tried that worked best for you?

A: First of all,for your case all you need is a scar serum since it will fade acne scars right after application.Plus,Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter also works best when it comes to acne scars. But still,if you would like to opt for homemade remedies you could try these 3 remedies if you want.Choose one that suits you(:

Baking Soda-Exfoliate your skin with baking soda. Often times, a version of baking soda is used in cosmetic microdermabrasion treatments. You can give yourself a mini microdermabrasion treatment by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with the two teaspoons of filtered water. Then gently rub the mixture on your acne scar for sixty seconds then rinse it off.

Apple And Honey-Using a blender, make a mixture out of 1 peeled apple with 1 tablespoon of yogurt, half a cucumber and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply on face, leave for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water.

Olive Oil-Massage a pea-sized amount of olive oil onto your face.Acne scaring can cause the skin to lose its elasticity and suppleness. The moisturizing nutrients in the olive oil will penetrate the skin to deeply moisturize the skin and soften the skin’s texture.

P/s:You could also try Mederma products if you want.It works for all kind of scars including acne scars.Try it and you’ll see improvements.Hope I helped(:

Q: Best natural acne remedy?
What is the best way to get rid of pimples and acne with thing you find at home.

A: Honestly, nothing really works wonders and makes acne disappear altogether. But i know that for some people a steam facial works.

You boil some water in a pan, then you put it on a bench, you put your face near the steam, not in the water, and a towel over your head like a tent so the steam doesn’t escape. and you let the steam unclog the pores on your face. You don’t do it for more than 10 minutes though. Then you use some ice or cold water on your face to close the pores.

Q: I have a daughter in her 20’s with real bad acne looking for a natural adult acne cure?
I have a daughter in her mid twenties with bad facial acne. She dislikes using anything unnatural, and is very reluctant to use chemicals, or creams on her skin. Is there anything natural on the market that can help her cure her acne as an adult?

A: As a young woman, I have had issues with acne also, however I’ve managed to overcome it after following the recommendations and guidelines from a book I bought that basically provides all the processes to follow and things to eat and not eat, and I didn’tt need to use anything unnatural at all.
I got the book and all the information I needed to help me with my get rid of my acne off http://www.naturaladultacnecure.com

If possible, tell me other natural solutions for reduction as well. thank you.

A: You can cure your acne as quick as 3 days using natural remedies, i have cured in 3 days, and you can find out how from here:-

http://www.easyacneskintreatment.com/

Q: what is the best natural cure for acne?
Hi, what is the best natural cure for acne? I have already tried coconut oil, what are others?
Thanks!

A: Time.

Q: Natural Acne Treatment, Cure and Home Remedies for Acne. Acne Remedies – What are the Best Remedies for Acne?
Natural Acne Treatment, Cure and Home Remedies for Acne. Acne Remedies – What are the Best Remedies for Acne?

A: Remove any make-up you have on. Wearing make-up can clog pores, making them dirty and causing pimples. Also try to wear oil-free makeup (if you have oily skin) or a medicated makeup.

Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn’t matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.

Remove dead skin cells regularly by exfoliating. Use a gentle scrub with natural defoliants like ground walnut shells, or use an over-the-counter chemical defoliant like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Adding ground walnut shell to a thick moisturizer like cocoa butter can be effective too. Take caution, because over-exfoliating can actually increase the likelihood of acne by irritating the skin. Pat dry, rather than rubbing, since rubbing can cause irritation to the fresh skin you’ve just revealed.

Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin. 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol can also be used for severe oiliness, but it can really dry out your skin and irritate it more. Some toners are medicated, and this stage is the best for using a medicated product if you’re only going to use one medication.

Bye…

Q: Do you have a natural cure for acne?
I am 23 and have an acne problem. According to my dermatologist, my hormones are yet to stabilise. After 2 treatments, I noticed that the pimples come back right as I near the end of treatment. I am seriously considering a natural and permanent cure this time – am open to suggestions. Thx guys!!

A: A natural diet. You get 50% more acne just by drinking soda. Unhealthy eating is the main cause, I used to have acne but i drank ALOT of water daily washed my face 3 times a day and stopped drinking soda, maybe 1 every 3 days, and fries and cheeseburgers and tacos, that stuff is all full of oils. It cleared up really well.

Prescribed medications only help temporarily, as if they are to be effective I would have to use these medications for life. HELP..

A: I have been told that shampoo and conditioner which contain oil can continue cause ongoing acne. When you wash your hair rinse your face thoroughly to wash excess oil residue from shampoo and conditioner. Also, hair grease if you use it keep your hair wrapped at night because it will get on your pillowcase and get on your face. Last but not least don’t use products with oil on your face and keep your hands off face.

Q: whatare some good natural acne remedies?
I get some acne on my back and my chest. Do you know of any natural ways to clear it?

A: Soap & warm water to open up you’re pores and cleanse them a little bit and then go to you’re local natural foods market and find an oil that has natural ingredients including jojoba oil, vitamin E and maybe almond extract.

That’s what I use
-Windy

Q: Is there any natural acne remedies or tricks that have worked really good for any one?
On Christmas day last year I woke up and realized I had broken out really bad on my forehead and every since then I’ve tried tons of things to make it go away, but nothing has worked…Anyone have any ideas?

A: hey Bridge,

if you’re only breaking out on your forehead you’re pretty lucky believe it or not. having acne in an isolated area is much easier to deal with than having it all over your face.

that said, it doesn’t sound like it’s become common knowledge yet that you shouldn’t put any chemicals on breakouts, you’ll most likely make it worse and make it scar.

if you treat it from the inside you get faster results, less scarring, and you’re preventing new breakouts…which is a good thing i say p

Q: Strong natural remedies for acne ?
Does anyone know some really good strong natural
acne remedies ?
Something maybe passed down from grandma
or something someone has done that worked ?

Please share !!!
Thank you so much (:

A: Fresh lemon juice twice a day. Don’t scratch your skin. Wash it off.

Bye…

Q: What are some natural remedies for acne?
I am 6 weeks pregnant and breaking out like I’m a teenager again. What are all natural remedies that have worked for you? Thanks!

Q: Natural acne remedies?
I have REALLY stubborn spots on the top of my lip and between my eyebrows and I usually take really bad reactions to acne creams and spot creams, like it makes my spots worse or I come out in a rash. Do any of you know a natural acne remedies? <3

A: ugh acne is a be otch
=/
i had acne VERY badly but now it has subsided due to good skin care. i still get breakouts if i stop taking good care of my face.

heres my daily facial routine.
wake up–
1:wash face with a gentle oil free face wash use as warm of water as you can.
2: splash my face with COLD water for 30 seconds to snap my pores shut!
3: apply a very gentle OIL FREE face lotion.
only use this if you think your skin is drying out to much.
4: then i apply a little bit of make up to cover my red splotches.

night time—
1: wash you face with the gentle cleanser
2: use a astringent if you want to
3: Exfoliate your face with granulated sugar and lemon juice.
(the sugar exfoliates and the lemon juice makes you skin soft)

other face care:
1:if you can splash your face with cold water several times a day
2:once a week run crisco and olive oil all over your face and let it soak in… wash it off so it dont cloge poes. (this makes you skin baby butt soft)
3: eat less oils. e.g. french fries other deep fried foods. basically dont eat fast food.
4: if you put a towel over your pillow when you sleep this helps… (it soaks up oils in your face instead of smearing them)
5: for the ones you have put ice then for about a minute a piece.–> before bed GOB neosporine on them–>when you wake up ice them some more…

hope i helped.
this is what i do and i have good skin now.
i have had acne since 11 and now im 15 =]
acne free for about 6 months.

Q: What are some natural remedies for Acne?
I’ve been reading and looking into natural cures and it occured to me that I’ve been taking acne medication for a year and sometimes I get headaches, and the acne is not clearing up that well. Okay, I’ll admit, I don’t take it as faithfully as I should, but now I’m starting to question whether or not I should be putting that medication into my body. So if anyone knows any organic, or natural ointment, or lotion, or scrub, or some sort of herbs, or topical solution. Please let me know. I’d really appreciate it. Thank You.

A: Acne Home Remedy
Here is a very detailed list of all acne and pimple/acne home remedies that you can carry out within your daily routine.

The juice of one fresh lemon or lime added to a glass of boiled whole milk (a tsp. of glycerine may be added for dry skin) is excellent as a face wash for pimples blackheads, and the like, and for cracked skin.

Garlic Juice with 3 parts water is an excellent cleansing agent. Raw garlic applied ( rubbed) on the face can make persistent pimples/acne even in adults disappear without a trace/scar with repeated applications. The external use of garlic helps to clear the skin of spots, pimples & boils. Taking 3-4 pods of raw, skinned garlic, finely cut, combined with puffed rice and swallowed with water helps to clear skin infections quickly. The raw smell of garlic can be avoided by first soaking the skinned pods for a half an hour in milk.

1 tsp. Groundnut oil mixed with an equal amt. of lime juice may be applied daily to prevent formation of blackheads, pimples etc.( Lime juice will break the moleculecular structure of groundnut oil into amino acids so that the skin does not absorb the oil.)

1 tsp. Honey mixed with water is good for all skin blemishes, and leaves the skin youthful & glowing. Honey mixed with milk, curds and ground sesame seeds in equal proportions is a sure formula for fair and lovely skin.

Turmeric paste mixed with chana dal powder or whole wheat flour is very effective for all minor skin blemishes. Haldi powder mixed with sugarcane juice helps to remove wrinkles & is good as an anti-ageing remedy. Haldi mixed with pineapple juice is very effective on dark circles under the eyes.

Raw Mangoes with their leaves and skin boiled together or soaked overnight in water (in mild cases) makes an excellent astringent – good for epithelium (the tissue that covers the external surface of the body) infection.

Fresh mint juice applied over the face every night cures pimples and prevents dryness of the skin. It is also useful for insect stings, eczema, scabies, contact (contagious) dermatitis & other skin infections.

7 to 10 fresh neem leaves crushed or ground – and then swallowed with water will invariably clear the skin. If it is chewed and then swallowed with water it will also remove bad odour from the mouth, and cleanse the teeth. (Buy Neem Tablets)

Take an orange peel, grind it (on the household grinding stone). Mix it with pure water or distilled water or boiled and cooled water, or rain water. Can be applied on the face for acne, especially. Fresh orange peel, rubbed on the face directly will also serve the same purpose to a degree.

The juice of green/raw papaya (including the skin and seed) is extremely beneficial on swelling pimples, acne,or any abnormal growth of the skin. It prevents pus formation, removes whiteheads, boils, freckles, and brown spots due to exposure to sunlight & most other skin diseases.Papaya is also good to achieve a smooth & delicately glowing skin (contains papain, alkalide carpain in leaves, and cericin in its seeds) Ripe papaya, rubbed on on your face will also serve the same purpose to a degree.

Pomegrenate skin roasted and powdered & mixed with fresh lime – applied over boils, pistules, pimple, blackheads and whiteheads prevents itching & infections.

Raw potatoes contain potassium, sulphur, phosphorus & protein. The enzymes in raw potato pulp combined with its Vitamin C content & natural starch are a natural skin food. The alkaline nature of the juices is an antiseptic. The acid portion of the pulp helps remove decaying or dead skin. Applications of its juicy pulp (grated or shredded) as poultice, clears skin blemishes, melts away wrinkles, banishes age spots, helps prevents boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads & gives a glowing & youthful look to the skin.

Radish seeds contain a bleaching agent and its emulsion prepared with water applied over the face will remove blackheads & freckles. Radish leaves crushed & applied as a poultice also help in the process. Grated white radish & its water makes an excellent astringent and bleaching agent for a fairer complexion.

Fine powder of rice, ground at home and mixed with water acts as a poultice for soothing /cooling bleeding pimples & other skin inflammations.

Ripe Tomatoes pulp should be applied liberally on your face for treatment of pimples and kept upto 1 hour, then washed thoroughly. Chandan (sandalwood) powder with masoor dal can be applied thereafter for a glowing skin. This also helps shrink large pores.

Sesame Seeds ground and mixed with water makes a very effective poultice for inflammation of the skin due to allergies, skin rashes, scratched pimples and acne.

Whole wheat flour mixed with vinegar, & applied on the surface of the skin removes freckles & dark spots. Wheat grass juice poultice is applied for sterilizing the infected area before this treatment.

Widely known, Hot wet towel compresses are the best treatment for localized infections, as heat dilates blood vessels, followed by a cold compress, which has the opposite effect.

Our body has its own self cleansing, self-purifying systems: keeping these systems working in perfect order is the best way of protecting yourself from toxicity. Drink 7-8 glasses of water a day. 10 glasses would be optimal, but if your anything like me its sometimes tough to get in the 8 glasses. Remember your skin is the largest organ of your body and is the first to lose moisture and become dehydrated.

Drink Herbal Water : It is made by boiling hair of 1 corn, with 1 to 2 fenugreek seeds in a glass full of water.

Almond Oil is good acne home remedy for dryness & inflammation of the skin. The outer cover (endocarp) of 2-3 can be ground with water & applied over the face daily. This is good for removing scars of old pimples.

Fresh juice of apricots applied on your face is very good for sunburn, itching, exzema and natural cystic acne treatment.

Application of Bengal Gram Powder (flour) mixed with curds is also a very effective treatment for pimples & other skin infections & allergies. Green Gram powder flour, mixed in water or glycerine is an excellent face wash in place of soap to remove dirt without skin irritation, and also a very effective bleach for a good complexion.

Cucumber Juice alone or mixed with juices of carrot, lettuce or alfalfa when applied over the face is excellent home remedy for pimples. Grated cucumber can also serve the same purpose.

Curd or buttermilk is good for skin irritation. Curds along with wheat flour or bran is a good cleanser and beneficial for dry skin.

Fenugreek Leaves – A paste of fresh leaves applied over the face every night and washed with warm water prevents pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dryness, wrinkles etc.

Q: Does anyone have any natural acne remedies that work?

A: well, make a mixture of turmeric powder and chik pea powder, mix well and store in a container, which is absolutely dry. while using, wet face lightly, spread it evenly over the affected area and scrub well, not too hard though. use it as a replacement for a face wash. it also removes facial hair and brightens the skin. make sure you don’t accidentally apply it on your brows or your hairline. another option is coconut oil. it can cure anything. whether a burnt mark, or nail marks, even stretch marks! but stretch marks take time! even brightens dark areas.

Q: Natural remedies for fading acne dark spots/scarrs?
I believe in natural remedies for curing acne, now I have these dark marks and blemishes from the spots, are there any natural cures for fading them, or getting rid of them all together? I’ve heard that ‘bio-oil’ is effective, also vitamin e.

A: I’m sorry my friend but there is no easy way to get ride of it, my boyfriend went through the same thing and it’s worst because he is dark skin so the scares are way more visible.

Vitamin E is the best thing you can use but it wont clear it up in days, it slowly will as long as you use it everyday. He used it and it’s been about 5 months and he is almost scare free

I also use it when I decide to take out a piercing and it has given me nothing but results!

good luck and congrats on the clear up

Q: can i switch from using an acne medication to using natural remedies?
I use Dermatopix to wash my skin at night and I also use Ziana. Doctors say it’s good to use this stuff, but I feel like it’s unhealthy. It has helped my acne a little, but in its place I have dry, discolored skin. Is there a way I can simply drop the medications and use natural remedies? Or will it only make my skin worse?
Thanks so much for the help!

A: i dont know what your situation is, but the only things that helped me was the birth control pill that reduced testosterone which caused the acne. topical “natural stuff didnt do a thing. also proactive has helped, neutrogena acne treatment gel and oil of olay regenerist heat peel, origins mud mask. exercising, drinking water and eating fruits and veggies and staying clean will help. natural products will help too. but in my experience, they only supplement the more conventional treatment to control acne. good luck acne is a b!tka to alleviate.

Q: Natural Acne remedies?
does anyone know of any natural acne remedies that are easy and found at home
thanx

A: you should try placing cucumbers on your faces–its great for blackheads and pimples. Also be sure to wash your face morning and night with a mild soap/cleanser. Check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com for more acne tips.

Q: Natural remedies for acne, pimples, zits, and blackheads?
So im 15 and i need some natural remedies for acne
don’t say proactive or some cream that i have to buy at the pharmacy
do u know anything natural or any household items that has worked for you or someone you know?
ive heard aloe vera works well but im not sure how to apply it
if you have anything else could you give me the ingredients and directions of how to make it and apply it?
thank you!!!!
by the way i have oily skin
especially forehead and nose

A: Aleo Vera works REALLY well if its straight from the plant. All you haver to do is cut a little bit off the plant, then cut it open and put the gel from inside the plant on straight away.
As for home remidies, here are some things you can make to apply to your skin:

1.Oats
Cook a single serving of plain oatmeal as you would for eating.
Add approximately ¼ cup honey and mix thoroughly.
Allow to cool.
Apply to face, avoiding the eye area.
Leave for 10-20 minutes. Do not leave it on too long or it will become difficult to remove.
WHY IT WORKS:
The oatmeal cleanses pores by absorbing oil and exfoliating the skin. Honey eases application and serves as a skin toner.
(i have tried this and it does show results)

2. Avocado Paste
This is one of the easiest pimple home remedies, simply get an avocado and mix some of it up with some water to form a paste. With that, apply it to the face and form a mask. Leave it on for a while before washing it off.

3. Salt Water:
Warm salt water can also be used to wash your face each day, since it will get rid of oil and dirt, but won’t irritate any existing acne you may have. You can follow your saltwater treatment with a splash of cold water on your face, along with an oil-free moisturizer if you have dry skin.

Q: Any natural remedies for acne?
I have tried so many acne products, I’m tired of spending the money. Are there any good at home remedies that actually work?

A: A GREAT remedy for acne is pure Witch Hazel. Clean your face as normal, and then dab some witch hazel all over it. You can purchase witch hazel in any drug store sitting next to the rubbing alchohol. It looks just like rubbing alchohol and the bottle usually looks similiar. Witch Hazel helps to keep the skin tight and dry. I use it daily!

Q: Natural remedies for chest acne?
I have slight chest acne and it’s really annoying and making me self conscious. I don’t want to wear any tops that slow the slightest bit of chest anymore. Are there any tips or natural remedies?

A: Acne Marks or Scars

Here is a simple tip that you can use to reduce your acne scars and pigmentation.

Q: Any suggestions for a natural acne face wash?
I’ve been using AcneFree from University Medical for about half a year now and it’s been working okay but I feel weird to but putting all these chemicals on my face a couple times a day. What is a good acne wash that is more natural? I don’t have severe acne but I need one that really works. I don’t want it to be too expenseive either!

A: If it’s not bad acne, you may get away with a mildly medicated, natural facial cleanser like Alchemilla’s Foaming Facial Cleansing Gel. You need to look at exfoliating as well – try their Exfoliating Face Wash Cream. It’s very gentle and won’t dry your skin. Whatever you use, just make sure it doesn’t strip your skin of all moisture. It will only make matters worse by promoting more oil production in your skin. You can find these skin care products and information at the Alchemilla website below…

Q: Im breaking out more and more everyday, Where can i buy online or in stores all natural acne treatment?
Lately i realized i keep breaking out, and its starting to look hideous. its not over the top bad, but its not attractive. lol.
Where online or in stores can I buy all natural acne treatment?
thank you.
If you know any that helped you, and are all organic/natural, please share
thanks.

A: I used to have horrible acne I can’t even tell you how bad it was. I found www.StopMyAcne.Info and bought it it seriously cured my acne.
Like seriouslyits gone . I don’t even have one pimple
After using this I can’t believe it’s only cheap and after you use it you won’t either hahaThe trips I took to the dermatologist cost me WAY more than that lol and the CRAP they gave me just made my acne worse~!!!!! uhggg… lol
Oh and it also guarantees it will cure your acne in 3 days or your money back.

Anyway I hope this helps!

It cures your acne from the inside out and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals. Read more about it here: http://www.acnezine.com/?aid=284790 If you don’t like that then go to this website and read about the hollistic treatments http://www.acnehelp4u.net/

Q: what gets rid of more acne – natural or chemical methods ?
what works the best to get rid of acne – chemical products like clearasil & clear and clear & proactiv & stuff or natural methods like egg white masks & salt water & such ? or is it best to combine the two ? what is a natural method you can do daily (i know egg whites is only meant for once a week) ?

A: BAKING SODA mixed with water or whatever wash you face with it, it is amazing gets rid of pimple in HOURS!!!!!!

Q: What are some natural Acne Cures?
I was wondering if anyone knows so acne cures that work very fast, and can be homemade? I need to find some natural remedies, that are easy to do, that clear acne fast…Please help.

A: Tea Tree Oil – - just apply it to your skin

Also, wash you face before sleeping and change your pillow case every night (a little tedious I know, but it makes sense)

Q: I Will Like To Know The Acne Natural Treatments That Works Effectively?
What are the acne natural treatments that will get rid of acne more quickly than any other one.

A: Mix one tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of baking soda and apply gently to face. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse off. Do this 3 to 4 times per week. I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me!

Q: What are some natural acne removal methods?
My daughter is having a lot of acne(zits and pimple) and is now developing redness. I don’t want her to use make up because she is allergic to it. And i also want something effective yet not too costly. Her skin get greasy easily and if there is anything that you use that fulfils greasy skin, redness, acne and something to even out the tone of her skin, please tell thank you

A: Replace pillow sheet once every other day. Grease, oils, and other facial fluids enter the sheet and stay there. Then, every night your face touches those areas. Make sure it’s clean. Also, drinking lets of water will help keep your body hydrated, and in turn less greasy. Avoid touching your face, as greasy fingers are a medicine for more acne! Finally, try applying benzoyl peroxide to your face– this will dry out the skin and remove acne.

Bye…

Q: What is the best natural acne treatment (not proactive)?
I have heard a lot of awful stuff about proactive, one of them being that it messes up your PH balance, so I am looking for a treatment that is natural and will not make me break out when I stop using it. Thanks for your hep

A: I’ve tried a lot of medications before but haven’t really help. As a last resort i choose natural remedies. I found that it has the real power of curing my acne. I’ve tried it and it really works for me, in less than one week you can already notice a lot improvement. I hope it helps you too.

Q: How do you treat cystic acne?
I have cystic acne and i have yet to find an over the counter product that will help me. I do not want to go to a dermatologist because it is too expensive. What products work well, does anyone have any home remedies?

A: Well, cystic acne results from sensitive skin. The best thing u could do is by using an intensive skincare treatment to improve ur skin sensitivity so that no new breakouts will occur.Just cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day to regulate ur sebaceous glands and prevent new breakouts.Use a purifying mask once a week to detoxify ur face.Facial treatment could enhance ur healing process too.And when ur acne becomes scars, include a scar serum to improve ur skin complexion.Good luck…

For dozens of more ways, prevention, types and reasons check

Q: How do I treat cystic acne?
If you’re not familiar with cystic acne, A) your’re lucky, and B)it is pimples under the skin that are really bulbous, huge, and painful. I have it, I just don’t know how to get rid of it…any suggestions?

A: I have had cystic acne for a long time. I didn’t know that it was called that until recently, but I have had it and it stinks. I bought every possible product and what I found was that no single product has the ability to completely clear acne, since it comes from so many sources. Acne is caused by genes, stress, diet, excercize and several other factors, and no one change, be it in diet or cream, can address all of those issues.
I read a book http://bambiberg.acnefree.hop.clickbank.net/ that really made me understand this, and when I finally used the correct combination of lifestyle changes, my acne disappeared in just a few days. However, do not get this book, if you are not willing to follow through. Change is hard, I am the first to admit, but the payoff is awesome, because I am acne free.

Q: How do you treat cystic acne if you cannot afford to see a doctor?
I don’t have health insurance! (I know…I can’t afford it)

thanks!

A: Check out this website. It looks promising.

Q: what is the best way to treat cystic acne with some scarring?
I’m an adult female that has suffered enough with this condition. all
the doctors tell me is that they can lance active cyst (which i no longer get) but for the scarring and occasional flare up there really
is nothing left to do?!

A: Acne scar treatment

http://www.askaquery.com/question/How-to-treat-acne-scar%3F.html

Q: Is it possible to treat mild cystic acne without Accutane?
I have just a few very small cystic spots on my nose. They don’t hurt, and they don’t stand out in a particularly noticeable way. However, they’ve been there for a while, and I’d really like to treat it without using Accutane.

I’d appreciate any ideas, homemade remedies, and the like. Thanks!
I don’t think Accutane is necessary because I’ve known people put on the drug and they have had much more serious spots, while I just have a few small ones on the nose.

A: I worked for a dermatologist for six years, and am now a medical professional as well. Let me tell ya…Accutane is serious and for people with serious acne. However, it is overly used because people in general are so concerned with just one pimple. I won’t go into depth about how severe Accutane is, because you obviously want to use something different, but is a very strong drug.

Truly cystic acne is typically painful. Are you sure it’s cystic? Cystic ane is deep and usually a hard knot under the surface of the skin. Very rarely is there ever a pustule that appears on it (usually do not appear until it’s almost gone anyway). If it is truly cystic, do not squeeze it. These forms of acne have “roots” and will only grow larger upon mashing or squeezing them.
Do not use any form of scrub on your face, if you have active pimples or acne. You may use a scrub if you have blackheads. Otherwise, scrubs break the skin and spread bacteria over the rest of your face, which in turn causes acne to spread.
Probably the most effective active ingredient in acne products, benzoyl peroxide kills P. acnes, helps remove excess oils from the skin and removes dead skin cells that clog pores. It is available in strengths from 2.5 percent to 10 percent, but it can cause excessive dryness, scaling, redness and minor swelling. It can also make your skin more sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) exposure.
Salicylic acid is an ingredient that slows shedding of cells inside the hair follicles, which prevents the pores from clogging. It may also break down whiteheads (clogged pores that have no opening) and blackheads (pores that are open and have a dark surface). Salicylic acid can cause mild stinging and skin irritation. OTC acne products are available with 0.5 percent to 2 percent salicylic acid.
There are other products with other ingredients as well, but these two are the most common in OTC medications and the most effective.
Here are some other ways to avoid acne breakouts:

-Avoid oily cosmetics, sunscreens and hair products. Instead use products labeled “oil-free” or “noncomedogenic,” which means they won’t clog pores.
-Wash problem areas twice daily with a nonmedicated soap or mild cleanser. But don’t overdo it. Excessive washing and scrubbing can worsen acne.
-Apply just enough acne product to cover the problem areas.
-Use an oil-free, water-based moisturizer to help alleviate dry, peeling skin.
-Don’t pick or squeeze blemishes. Infection or scarring may result.

**Treating acne with acne products takes time and patience. It may take four to six weeks of daily use of acne products to see results, and acne may look worse before it gets better. If your acne doesn’t improve after two months of treatment, you may want to see your doctor or dermatologist for a prescription lotion or medication (which does not have to be Accutane).
There are tons of prescription medications out there that are extremely helpful and not nearly as severe as Accutane. If it is truly cystic acne, this is considered a type of Grade IV acne and is usually only completely treated by a dermatologist. You may want to try your own approach at home, using OTC meds, first, but if you keep getting the nodules, please see a doctor.

Q: What is the best way to treat Cystic Acne?

A: If you have medical insurace, go to a dermatologist and ask them about Accutane. This medication is really the best at getting rid of even the most horrible of cystic acne for anyone. The effect can be completely clear, blemish free skin for years, or even forever.
I must warn you, not all doctors are so eager to perscribe Accutane, especially for females. The drug is usually taken orally (pill form) for 4-6 months, but it can cause liver damage and if you are (or become) pregnant while taking it, your baby has a 99% chance of being horribly disfigured.
But trust me, no one has to walk around with those horrible huge pimples on their face. Accutane is literally amazing.

Another medication a doctor may perscribe before they have you try accutane – is antibiotics. Since this form of acne is caused by a buildup of bacteria and oil at the bottom of your pores, the antibiotics literally kill the bacteria deep in your skin where no soap or water can reach. It usually works very well on most.
Typically, a doctor will not perscribe Accutane unless this method failed to work.

If you don’t have medical insurance, the only thing I honestly can recommend is drinking a lot of water daily. The water will clear out your system and work as a flushing agent for the buildup of oil in your pores. Of course keeping your skin clean is also necessary. Neutrogena skin products are honestly the best out there (in my opinion).
If your skin is sensitive, stay away from benzoil peroxide, as this can irritate your skin and cause blemishes to appear more often. Neutrogena uses salicydic acid which is much more gentle and just as effective.

I know I wrote a lot – hope it helps.

Good luck.

Q: Has anyone ever heard of using amoxicillian to treat acne?
My daughter was given amoxicillian to treat cystic acne. I have heard of tetracycline and erythramicine being used but not amox. I am concerned that this is a waste of money.

A: if you have a concern, ask the dermatologist.
not sure how much difference there is between the 3 though. I started with tetracycline and moved on to the hard stuff….

Q: How can I treat cystic (?) acne?
Cystic with a (?) next to it because I’m not entirely sure if it is. All I know is that it’s one huge (and I mean it,) zit located on my nose. It looks literally as if I’m growing a second nose, and since the first day of school is around the corner, I’d rather have it removed as soon as possible.

So far I’m treating it with Eritromicina (I believed the English term for it would be Erythromycin,) but apart from making it sting painfully, it isn’t doing anything.

Does anyone have an at-home remedy for bad acne? I really don’t want to enter school with an extra nose. ~_~

A: Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne worse by using too many products. There is no quick fix for acne. Your doctor may recommend some prescription medication. Keep your face very clean. Drink plenty of water. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. Try to reduce the stress in your life. Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer. Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.

Q: Ways to treat Cystic Acne?
I’m 18 years old and I have cystic acne. I get them on my face and in my pubic region also. Ive tried shaving, thinking that may help, but it only makes things worse. And I make sure to keep myself clean so its definately not a hygene issue. They’re SO painful, and I need some over the counter ways to prevent myself from breaking out with these! I was on perscribed medication, but we got taken off of medical aid so now we cant afford my medicine. I put this salve crap on them when they get super painful, and that helps draw the pus out sometimes. Also I get scars from them once theyve healed up. Do you know how i could get rid of those also? Please help me!!!

A: Hi there. I’m sorry to hear that you’re in pain. What many people aren’t aware of is most soaps and cleansers on the market contain mineral oil, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate into the pores of our skin so it sits on the top layer like saran wrap. This causes dirt and debris to collect on our face, thus causing our skin problems. They also contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, etc which strip your skins acid mantel (its protective layer) and causes irritation, dryness, and more skin problems. You don’t want to DRY out your face because your skin will try to overcompensate by producing more oil. You might want to try Arbonne. It’s a Swiss company that is regulated by the FDA and formulates their products without the ingredients listed above. Their products are botanically based and beneficial for all skin types. Arbonne has a great acne line where people have seen amazing results! They also have a great dietary supplement to support skin from the inside out targeting troubled skin with vitamins, minerals and L-Lysine, an amino acid. Stay away from touching your skin as it encourages the spread of bacteria and excess oils, leading to breakouts. Also, excessive cleansing and scrubbing can make acne worse. I would be happy to help you if you’re open to giving it a try. Good luck.

Q: How can I treat Cystic acne on my nose?
I started having acne on my nose back in 03 and since then its been a nightmare. I just assumed it was reg acne at 1st but then it started getting worse, just fig’d out that its cystic acne last week. I never have them anywhere else around my face but my nose. It comes up like boils and clears up sometimes but now I have like permanent little ones that sometimes increases. I’ve tried antibiotics, birth control pills and a few prescription topical creams but nothing has cleared it up so far. Whenever I start a treatment it looks like it works at 1st but then the acne gets immune and just comes out again. I really need help its been 6yrs now and my dermatologists have not been of great help so far. Thnx

A: Squeeze them with finger nails, and after that put some talk on your nose, it will dry the skin.

Q: Has anyone ever tried using Burdock Root to treat Cystic Acne?
I’ve had cystic acne for years now…I’ve done Lasers which improved my Roscea quite a bit but I’m still dealing with the cystic acne! UGG!! I went on Accutane for 6 months which actually helped quite a bit but my cystic acne has come back since using it….I want to leave Accutane as a last resort….considering using Burdock Root….anyone familar with this??
I spent literally probably thousands of dollars on trying to clear up my cystic acne…enough is enough…I really want to be able to wake up in the morning and not have to worry anymore about what my face is going to look like (break outs etc.) I know I am beautiful on the inside but I am ready for the outside to reflect the same….any advice?? Its really killing my self esteem. Thanks.

A: Trust me, accutane IS the last resort, and the ONLY resort. Nothing else works. I’ve never tried Burdock root, but i’ve never heard of it. So my advice would be to stop wasting your money on other ways to clear up your acne. I made that mistake. You will save so much money in the long run. Accutane really is a miracle pill. It’s a bitch to take with all the side effects and how much it costs, but it’s so worth it in the long run. I’d say go back to accutane. stick with it for another 6 months. I only took it for 6 months, but it didnt come back. Some people just need to take it for a little bit longer. Stick with it, your acne should clear up, and good luck! =)

Q: How can I treat my cystic acne?

A: the best thing to do is go to a dermatologist because they can prescribe you ointment to put on the acne. If you can’t do that i would go to a drugstore and pick up a good facial scrub, clearasil ultra facial scrub is really good, facial wipes, and any kind of rapid action acne cream. Use those everyday twice a day, and use the wipes more if you need to, to keep your face clean. Keep your hair out of your face and don’t touch it, to make sure your not get more oil on it. just make sure to stay consistant with keeping your fac clean and it should start to clear up, but it will take some time because it is a severe form of acne.

Q: Does anyone know how I can treat my cystic acne that I have on my forehead? I got them after I took a shower?
I suddenly got like three of them after the next day when I took a shower…..I’m trying to treat them, but they haven’t gone away yet. How can I help stop unclogging my pores to make them smaller?
I got them right after I took a shower. I try to avoid getting more acne problems that I already have by placing a small towel over my face while washing my hair to prevent any shampoo or dirt and oil from my hair to wet upon on. But I still got them anyway. So I don’t know why. I last got them in late December when I was going under stress, but I am trying to keep my stress levels from going any further in my life, but once in awhile I do become abit sad, but I quickly try to make myself entertained. I want to make them go away very soon, but I think my last one took about 4 days to a week to be gone with a spot treatment, so should I keep on using the spot treatment to help me make them small again or should I try something else? I do eat healthy now by drinking water ( about at least 4 max. cuz I can’t drink that much really ) and eating fruits ( no veggies. Hate them ) and more other good food. If anyone out there knows anything that could help me, please tell me.

A: Do you wash your face in the shower? (like let the water hit your face straight from the shower head?) That could be why. It’s happened to me before. I don’t know any particular reason. Maybe the water is too hot, which dries out your skin and causes your skin to produce more oil and give you those cystic pimples. I suggest you keep the shower water away from your face and wash your face in the sink after your shower so your pores would be “open” and ready to be cleaned.

Q: Cystic Acne, Hormonal or Food Allergy?
I have been informed i have cystic acne but as of yet am not sure on what is causing it. I have an intollerance/allergy test this saturday so will find out if food is causing it.

However, i have a feeling it is due to my hormones which i dont know how they will treat? I am unable to go onto the pill as i suffer with phlebitis and when i was last on any forms of contraceptive or birth control pills i would lose feeling in my legs and have swollen veins.

How would they treat cystic acne if i am unable to go on the pill if it is hormone related??

Any ideas? I know i could be jumping the gun as it could be food allergy related but that shall be confirmed by saturday. But i am just curious.

Any feedback would be great, thanks

A: please e.mail me the e-mail address of where you are gettig the allergy testing done, please so important, click on my icon & e-mail me pleaseeeeeeeeee
